  1. I called my insurer and they stated that as long as the tyre is the correct size (215/50R18 on my 1.6 TDi) they are quite happy with either V or W rated.

  3. I was in the queue at the rubbish tip today and discovered the the engine would start if I just moved the steering wheel! Handy to start up without having to take your foot off the brake.
  4. I have a February 2019 Karoq SEL (2018 build I think). I don't subscribe to the Connect service and I don't have a dongle in the OBD socket and yet the Skoda Connect app on my phone always shows me up to date info on fuel range, trip distance and time, windows & doors locked status and where the car is located, etc. I asked my Skoda dealer about this and they said there is a hidden dongle that enables the car to talk to the phone app at all times.
  5. I've recently purchased a Karoq with the above system. I have searched the internet and looked at the handbook but can't find the answers. Can fellow Karoq owners help me? 1) Is it possible to set a destination as a point on the map, rather than entering an address? 2) Is there a setting that zooms into the map when you approach a junction on a route, and then zooms out again once past the junction? Thanks.
