  1. Hi @e-Roottoot, thank you. I just phoned kwik-fit and booked in for service for next week. They have assured they got the computers / equipment to update the records. I am still not 100% convinced though. The only reason am avoiding authorised dealer is for the price, although i have not enquired with them until now. Dont know what will be the typical service charges at Skoda.
  2. Am due for the service and my car has only digital service records, just wondering should I book my service only at Skoda dealer or can I get it done with other garages like kwik fit etc. If it gets done from other garages will the service log gets updated on my system in the car?
  3. @e-Roottoot Guess its a old model you are referring to. From the web address i can guess its a manual for 2011-12. I have attached the cluster of lights on the dash of 2017-18(my model)
  4. Sorry to come back late. I should say first that I have managed to sort this warning issue and what a shame.. it's an OIL issue, I was running out of oil. A local mechanic checked and topped up the oil and all sorted. Now, for over a month I am driving regularly and no misfires, the car runs smooth and responds as it should be. Skoda should definitely dedicate a oil warning instead of clustering more warnings in to one Engine warning light.
  5. I have this emission control system light staying ON on my dash. What will be the cause of it? Just before the light came on, I did a 950mi trip (not continuous though). Is this is a serious problem? Should i take it only to the Skoda authorised dealer or can it be sorted with Halfords service centre / kwik fit. I have attached a screenshot of the manual. Thank you
