Dashcam fitting - what fuse have you used?
Cattytown replied to TerryMcK's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
Thanks, that's logical and useful to know. Is there any easy info on what rows are on which buses? I've just seen lots of discussion on switched, with 47 the hands down fave, but no clear choice for a permanent live. -

Columbus Map Update 2022-2023 (MIB1/2 HIGH)
Cattytown replied to MartiniB's topic in Audio, Electronics and Security
Cheers - yes, I pull everything else (don't want to distract it) and from PC so a MAC doing it's thing isn't an issue. I had done a 20 minute drive with it looking. In desperation I found a 32G SD and formatted it as FAT and that worked with the same files. It seems fussier than my youngest's diet! Paul.- 155 replies

Columbus Map Update 2022-2023 (MIB1/2 HIGH)
Cattytown replied to MartiniB's topic in Audio, Electronics and Security
Hi All - trying to do the update in a 2018 Kodiaq. Pop an SD card in and it tells me there's an update available. Nav->Settings->Version and there are the two options at the bottom as expected. If I hit update it sits on searching for updates for ages. 64G class 10 as exFAT. Fully (not quick) formatted as a straw to grasp at. Is that normal and it's doing something like checking the integrity? Thanks, Paul.- 155 replies

Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? 2018 Kodiaq. Downloaded, extracted, copied to nice big, fast SD card. filesystem exFAT Ignition on, system on - pop the card in and it flashes past reading SD card to say update files are there on the SD card. Navigation, settings, version info and at the bottom of the screen it offers update from SD or update from network. I select SD and it says it is looking for files, and doesn't seen to find them, even if left for a while. Same behaviour in SD1 and SD2 slots. I do note the date, and that we are only around a month away from the next due update, but am a little split - it's only a target, but I want to have the process right for the next one too. Thanks, Paul.
