  1. Hi Guys, If I fit an Amunsden to my Yeti which has built in Bluetooth, doesn't that make the funky box under the drivers seat redundant? Really hate the loud connection beep it does. Currently got the bluetooth box still connected as well as upgrading to a Columbus, but I much prefer the Amunsden's simplicity. Thanks, Pat.
  2. Nice. Where does the usb wire go? Pat.
  3. Hi Guys, I know there's a couple of templates floating around. Who has one for sale/rent etc. Cheers, Pat.
  4. Hi Guys, Anyone know where I can get one of the storage trays for under the passenger seat? Can only fins one on Kopacek and they're not currently sending a box so big to the UK. Thanks, Pat.
  5. Dang - knew there was probably going to be a problem. So it looks like I might need to invest in a Ross-Tech lead or find someone who's near Bury/Rawtenstall/Hebden Bridge/Todmorden area. Thanks guys. Pat.
  6. Hi Rustynuts, Yes - interested, but not until I've picked up the car. Should it be all straightforward or will anything need re-coding when I fit it to a different car? Hoping it's all just going to be plug and play. Cheers, Pat.
  7. Think I've figured it out. If I buy a faceplate from a later 2014+ Yeti, they have the squarer surround so should be easy to fit the Amunsden to the Yeti. Pat.
  8. Hi Guys, I've just put a deposit down on a 2011 Yeti. I currently have a Roomie which I retro fitted an Amundsen+ (including the mic and GPS antenna so it all works as it should). The Yeti comes with the Bolero, but I need the Sat Nav. Ideally, I want to fit the Amundsen from the Roomie, but the faceplate shape looks slightly different. Are there different shaped faceplates on Amundsens? Thanks, Pat.
  9. Yep - started a thread here: Grateful if you have any advice. Cheers, Pat.
  10. Cheers. After way to much reading, I bought myself an Amunsden+ to try and make things easier. Pat.
  11. Hi All, Just bought myself a 2012 Amundsen+ for my 2012 Roomster that currently has a Swing fitted to it. I know I will need to get a code - eBay probably easiest for this ??? Hopefully the double fakra aerial plug is the same as well as the quadlock plug ??? And then get someone with VCDS to unlock the Bluetooth function on the new radio (my new radio has a MAC address). That leaves me needing a GPS antenna - any good links for one of these ??? And an external mic - any good links for one of these as well ??? I was thinking of fitting the external mic behind one of the three little vents in the roof mounted sunglasses holder. Any thoughts about putting it there? I think that's it unless I've missed anything? Thanks, Pat.
  12. Hi Guys, Yep - I know there's a search button and yep, I know this will have been covered a zillion times, but just after some further and up to date clarification. 1) I can fit any aftermarket bluetooth radio with the right faceplate adapter, but would need a quadlock and canbus adapter cable as without the canbus bit, power to the radio won't be controlled by the ignition key. 2) Fitting a radio from another Skoda such as Columbus or Bolero isn't going to be easy (or cheap) to get the Bluetooth working. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good aftermarket quality unit with a built in mic? Thanks, Pat. NB: Mine is a Mk2 Roomster (2012).
