Anyone else ordered a new Kodiaq?
Austrianscot replied to Yogi-Bear's topic in Skoda Kodiaq MKI (2017-2023)
My E-Up that I ordered in nov 2021 has been sitting in Emden since at least the 20th of February. Well that’s when my dealer contacted me to say the car had been built and was there. They gave an estimate of 3-4 weeks to get into the uk and other week to get to the dealer. They also asked me not to chase as they will give me an update when it’s ready as no update means no news. The fact I ordered the car over 500 days ago with a 4 month estimated wait means I gave up chasing them a long time ago. I know this isn’t a Kodiaq order that relates to this forum but it might give you an idea. I do also own a Kodiaq and have ordered another (February order) that’s not expected until at least September (28 weeks apparently). -
Sounds about right, my car has a build certificate on the 12th of July and it’s a MY20

New Kodiaq arrived...MY21 query!

cheers, doesn’t seem that much of a difference. I’m pretty sure I’ll survive with mine. Loving the car so far. -

Mmm, After looking at your picture again I’m not sure if I have a new or old steering wheel 😂. I definitely have the older USB ports though. -

I got my car this week also and it’s a year 20 car with USB-A. Looks my my car was signed off on the 12th of July (according to certificate in glove box) from a 3rd of June order. I like the look of your steering wheel but I also like the one I got as it has 3 spokes. I must have got one of the last MY20 cars. Still delighted with it. -
Excellent , my 6 year old is also looking forward the new car. She is especially looking forward to the interior LED lights and making them pink 😂 Mind you, she has already started to shed tears for our Touran and how she doesn’t want her car to go to another family and why can’t we just have both 😂

Good news. I keep getting worried that all the increasing infections all over Europe will end up putting some sort of delay on mine. it’s weird when I ordered in June I wasn’t particularly bothered when it came as I still like my Touran. Now I know I’m getting a new car my Touran has started to annoy me and I guess I just want the newness. Ive will have had the Touran for 3 and a half years on the 1st of September. The longest I’ve ever had a car 😬

I seen this elsewhere in this forum. Not sure how accurate it is Status Meaning 00 Without Production Week 10 With Production Week 20 With Production Order 30 In Transit From Factory 36 In Port of Exit not Released 38 In Port of Exit Released 39 Vehicle Shipped 40 UK Port 60 In Transit to Dealer 70 At Dealer

I only ordered my car on the 3rd of June with an estimated delivery of 14 weeks. So imagine mine would end up being built after this changeover. How does it work exactly. I have ordered an SE DRIVE 1.5TSI DSG. As this is ‘special car’ would it be exempt from any changes as it’s not part of the main Kodiaq line up.
