  1. Is that the 522? do you leave it in all of the time? I like to take mind out at night but the magnet is so strong it keeps ripping the mount off the screen. There must be a knack to it? I moved it to my drivers side to make it easier to remove and add the inside cabin camera which is connected to the USB port on the right side of the camera. It probably does infringe on the wiper coverage thinking about it.
  2. Hi, I have a Spaceback and have this exact camera. I originally put it on the passenger side next to the rear view mirror but removing the camera off the mount because of the strong magnet was a nightmare. I have just moved it to the driver side. I don’t have the display showing when i’m driving so I have not found it a distraction.
  3. I don't know any way round going to the dealer. I also have a 66 plate Spaceback and have been looking into getting it activated but 150 seems a bit steep. If you find out please let me know.
  4. Hi, just saying hello. I haven't been a regular on a car forum since the UKFIESTANETWORK days. Had my last car for 16 years but said goodbye a few years ago and got a 2016 (66) Spaceback SE Sport. 1.2 TSI in white. I got it with 7k miles and it has just turned 15k. So far I have done the following.. Flat bottom steering wheel - did this yesterday Under bonnet sound insulation Windscreen bottle top change Boot hooks and storage compartments Sill plates Spare wheel Rubber boot liner Mud flaps New rubber mats First Aid kit Breakdown triangle Just ordered OBDEleven and my next mods are hopefully going to be the rear camera, hill assist (hopefully), needle sweep dials and a possible upgrade to the 8" radio screen. Cheers Nath
