  1. No they only replaced the shock absorber. I’d had the top mount replaced when i first had it as i suspected that it was faulty but it wasn’t. It’s always been the shock absorber on mine. The other side isn’t much better but they wouldn’t change that as it hadn’t full on failed.
  2. All the lubrication used to do was make the noise go away for a little while for me. I forgot to update - mine went in for an MOT and failed on the passenger shock absorber. I always suspected the shock absorber and the noise has now gone since it was changed.
  3. Nah nothing has been replaced just kept lubricating the suspension. I have had so many electrical issues with it that this wasn’t a priority. Iv never been keen on the car tbh. Always wanted a Karoq but have never got on with mine or the many Karoq courtesy cars that I have had. I thought I’d get used to it but it’s just not for me hence now looking for a replacement.
  4. Sounds like mine. It also does it when i apply the brakes as im slowing down over uneven roads. Mine is awful now again and passengers comment on it. The lubricant works for about 2-3 weeks but i got fedup of applying it. Iv had the car two years nearly and iv started looking at other cars. It’s been in so many times to the garage it’s embarrassing. It’s not a car I would buy again.
  5. If it makes you feel any better I noticed similar on our Skoda Rapid when it was just before 3 years old. It’s on the inside of both front doors. Skoda responded the same as you have found. The Rapid is a 2016 and it hasn’t got much worse in the last 5 or so years. Incidentally, I had the same on a 2002 MK6 Fiesta when it was 2.5 years old and Ford agreed to fix it. I wish I hadn’t bothered because they made a good job but it returned again and then they repaired it again. It was an ongoing saga for years until I just gave up. I kept the car 17 years I think before I traded it. Enjoy your car
  6. Hi all. I have an annoying issue with an LTE 2 antenna in the rear bumper of my karoq late 2021. I need to replace the cable but struggling as earlier wiring diagrams seem to suggest that the LTE 2 antenna goes to the Radio system rather than the OCU. Has anyone got access to, or knows where I could get more recent wiring diagrams from please?
  7. Hi all, would anyone kindly help me with an update for this MIB3 in my Skoda Karoq. It misbehaves quite often and I realise it could be down to the out dated firmware as it has never been updated (2021 Karoq). Currently I have version 0302 on it. Many thanks for any help. Kind regards Nath
  8. Thanks for the reply. I got the silicon grease today and installed it as per the instructions. Went on a brief ride out and the noise had gone with two of us in the car. Mine had got really bad and was doing it with just the driver in the car. It started off only doing it when there was a few people in the car. I had a feeling it might be the dampers after reading some posts about people changing them but I hadn’t realised about that bulletin. Fingers crossed it stays quiet as it was going to be sold imminently as a result.
  9. Hi @Rory can you just confirm if this fix has stood the test of time. I bought a Karoq a year ago and it’s done it since I had it and it drives me crazy. Before I sell it as a result I thought I’d try what they did to your dampers if it has continued to work. Cheers Nath
  10. I had mine activated last year on my Skoda Rapid. Took it to Skoda in the end and paid I think £150. I gave the car to the wife shortly after and she says it was worth the money and works well.
  11. Finally managed to get this done yesterday. I could not release the grill from the bumper now matter how hard I tried so I removed the bumper which wasn't too difficult. Even with the bumper off I found it quite hard to separate the grill from the bumper. Luckily I had two grills so I had installed the black cover to a Rapid grille a few days before. While the car is in bits I thought I would upgrade the washer bottle to the 5.4 L version.
  12. Just had my black grill delivered Do you need to remove the bumper to detach the grill? Once you get out the four screws on top how does it detach from the bumper. Cheers Nath
  13. I also own a 2016 Spaceback 1.2tsi 110 with 20k on the clock. Cambelt interval on these according to the dealer is 5 years or so many miles (can’t remember). Interestingly in Sweden where a friend lives there is no such interval and just an inspection. I had mine changed at the last service in October. Iv not had any issues with the running of mine so i’d pop it back for them to check.
  14. This is a link to someone who has done what you want so should get you started. You will need a translator on your pc or phone. https://www.drive2.ru/l/551981226496361415/
  15. Iv upgraded my wheel but I already had the steering controls. I just changed to a flat bottom. I have read on the Russian forums previously that it can be done but does obviously need some extra wiring.
