Have a 19 plate Octavia Estate. Bought a Ring charger a year ago (just in case) Thought I would try it out the other day. Checking my manual, it says the Negative lead should be attached to a 'fixing point ' just behind the battery. Couldn't quite make out the picture shown, but did look like this was an attachment (Ground?) point for Neg leads from battery. So am I correct in thinking this L shaped bracket is the connection point for charger? So why not Neg to Neg on battery?
