Thanks Phutters what are these rubber items and where did you get them from. Nige8021 there is an eye just below the ball which i use to attach the breakaway cable.

Cover for electric tow bar
Similar to what i do but i find the towbar can still go rusty over the winter months and i was wondering if there is a better solution out there.

Cover for electric tow bar
Has anyone got the approved electric tow bar fitted. I have one fitted and tow a caravan with Alko hitch lock which means the tow bar has to be kept perfectly clean. Has anyone come up with a way of stopping the ball getting rusty when stored away under the bumper. The problem is the tow bar when stowed is upside down and therefore if you put a cover on it water sits inside this cover and the ball is then sitting in water. I don't want to cover in grease as this needs to be cleaned off completely before i hitch up the caravan. Also does anyone know if there is a cover available to fit in the hole in the bumper when the tow bar is stowed as this would also help matters. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Towing a Horse Trailer
I have a 20tdi 190ps and tow a large caravan which comes in at 1440kg unladen and tops out around 1580kg with all the bits loaded. The Kodiaq is a superb tow car and the best i have ever had and towing the caravan is a breeze with no issues whatsoever so i would have no issues with towing this sort of weight or even higher. The braked towing capacity is 2000kg. I also have the factory fit tow bar and find this very sturdy and a solid piece of kit, as good as any after market bar and i would highly recommend this to be factory fitted.

What do you do when the guarantee runs out ?
The warranty was when the car was coming up to three years old and is part of the Skoda approved used car scheme. Basically the same as an extended warranty.

What do you do when the guarantee runs out ?
I purchased an approved Kodiaq which was 3 years old and came with this extended warranty. I have had a few minor issues such as Led puddle light and a faulty sensor. Both of these were repaired by the dealer under this warranty with no issues whatsoever. So i can only speak as i find.

Towing with a Kodiaq
I tow a Swift dealer special model of similar weight to your van. I used to tow with a 150bhp superb i now have a 190ps Kodiaq. Both vehicles towed very well with no issues whatsoever both very stable although due to the higher power of the Kodiaq this is far better tow car. I think the Kodiaq being higher also helps creating less drag on the van.

Considering a kodiaq with high mileage
I have a 2017 Edition model 2.0ltr TDI 190bhp factory fit tow bar and i also don't agree about the hard ride or stiff springs. I find the ride great even when towing a large caravan.

Wipers
I have fitted Bosch Aerotwins also, no issues at all good quality wipers much cheaper than OEM.

Skoda Kodiaq window blinds
I have these fitted to my Kodiaq and they are spot on. Easy to fit look good and helps with tinting effect to keep things inside the car hidden. The only down side is the rear one is in two pieces which some may not like but it does not bother me in the slightest.

Sports pedals RHD
Appreciate that, i will check my measurements tomorrow and see if they are the same size.

Sports pedals RHD
Hi AidenF, any chance you can take some measurements from your old foot rest so i can compare with the one on my Kodiaq, just maybe the length and width at the widest point and narrowest point. Thanks

Sports pedals RHD
Cheers AidenF i have seen this but did not want to take a chance in case it did not fit, but i might give it a go.

Kodiaq SEL or Edition 7 Seat
SEL sits below Edition not 100% sure on specs but many others have commented on these specs previously on this forum. SEL has alcantera seats and Edition has leather and a few more bits. I have an Edition spec and i love the gadgets but i would prefer Alcantera over leather but it's not an option.

Boot Liner
I had one of these in my CX5, equally as good and very similar to the one pictured above.

Boot Liner
I purchased this one on eBay for £30 great fit may not be deep enough for you but otherwise does the job.

10% off Skoda UK Service Plans
I spoke to my dealer who confirmed it is 3 or 2 separate services and advised me to go for the cheaper option due to where i am with my service schedule. So happy days.

Kodiaq RHD to LHD
There was a dealer down south selling a good spec Kodiaq LHD car i think it was on eBay. May be worth a search on eBay or Auto trader although as others have said you may need to own the vehicle for a few years before you can register in Norway.

10% off Skoda UK Service Plans
Surely option 3 does not mean 3 services in 2 years. The plan finishes when all services are used not in two years so depending where you are with the service intervals option 3 could be a good option. I am going to ring my dealer tomorrow to find out the cost of the next 2/3 services. Worth signing up for as you say it takes the sting out of the tail.

Touch up stick
Great thanks for all the replies, i do use the micro brushes but the final result is still not great may look into the chipex system.

Touch up stick
Yes just stone chips. Maybe it's me being a bit tight but as Sofo said £16 for two small pots is a bit steep but i guess they have got you buy the you know what!

Fuel filler flap
