  1. Oh damn, okay. Do you know any converters from the quadlock to ISO wiring harness with Canbus decoder?
  2. Oh okay, well my car didn't have that on the old one either.
  3. Do you know which functions i miss out on?
  4. Perfect, then i know there shouldn't be any problems. Thank you very much, slow_nick, appreciate it a lot 🙏 have a good day!
  5. I have connected it to the headlights, which turn on with the car. So that problem is fixed. Then there is no problem. Just needed to know i didn't make any important mistakes by not using the Canbus-H and Canbus-L. You don't happen to know what the "alarm" one does aswell?
  6. I will put up pictures when I get home. But there are No cables going out from the original quadlock connector except ground and battery. (on the side with Canbus) The others are Canbus-H, Canbus-L and alarm, which for now, don't have any way to connect to the New wiring harness, and all the way to the radio. Meaning, those three "pins" are not connected to the radio. My question was: how does it affect my car that they are not connected.
  7. How are they connected? Because the Canbus-H... pins from the original wires don't go anywhere. They end with the original.
  8. Okey, so tried to look it up a few times, but still not sure about it. So asking specifically for my case. I have a Skoda octavia mk 2 2005 2.0TD. I want to switch out the standard radio with one from joying. This one: https://www.joyingauto.eu/9-inch-double-din-android-8-1-head-unit-4g-lteradio.html My question is: what happens if I do not have a place to plug in the Canbus-H and Canbus-L pins? As in, they are not plugged into the radio.
