  1. Hi mate, still tracking but did notice a reasonable increase to early 50'slast week on a 70 mile run. Put some redex in too, so will report back when refilling. However, the other evening after the car had stood all day (post a 6am -7 degree start) it took a good while to turnover. I still think when plugs were changed something else got screwed up? Could anything have happened to timing? Cheers
  2. Thanks all. Will do some tank to tank calculations and ignore the computer for a bit. As an aside, yesterday am (damp and 5 degrees) the car took a bit to start. Didn't feel like it was the battery, more like the problems I had before when I had a warning light for glow plugs. No warning lights at present, although I have Carista, so may plug in and have a nosey.
  3. Thanks all. Same fuel as normal and also same period last year was better than now i.e. same as pre Glow plug change
  4. Hi all, recently had my glow plugs changed locally at a reputable garage. However, I have now noticed my MPG has dropped c.10% with no change to my driving style or weekly journeys. Is this a pure coincidence or could there be a link? Car is a 2016 4x4 DSG estate, 190tdi. Average dropped to around 41mpg mixed driving. However, my normal 140 mile round trip to Sheffield used to give around 52mpg on the computer, but now around 46 mpg. Any guidance much appreciated πŸ‘
  5. Great tip! I'll do that as I'm pretty sure the resulting rattles will have driven me mad πŸ˜‚. Thanks πŸ‘
  6. Thanks mate. Will drill the rivets out. I missed the side connection and looks like it's just plug and play basis the pic. Many thanks πŸ‘
  7. Hi guys, pretty new to the forum and looking for a little help for a novice please. My front left passenger speaker has blown and just bought a replacement. Superb is a 2016 SE-L. Seen the video on how to remove the door card, but was looking for some guidance on fitting the new speaker. First of all is it a simple unscrew job and secondly, not sure how the connectors work as my new one looks a soldering iron job (like I say, new to all this). Any help appreciated. Cheers
  8. Thanks all... I am now sorted! When allowing access I somehow missed the allow android auto option! Der..... As an aside, is it ok to update to the latest version of AA as I am running an old one? Cheers
  9. Cheers mate, it usually starts charging and asks to allow data transfer which I allow. Should I also try a factory reset of the unit as it had a previous owner upto me last week?
  10. Hi all, New to the forum and Skoda, so please go easy on me😁.... Trying to connect my Samsung S9+ (Android 10) via original USB to the colombus system in my 2026 SE-L but keep getting the error ' check the settings on the mobile device and connection...' My phone also tried to download a new certificate which keeps failing. I have android auto installed as versio. 4.9.594 which is old as I was told it may be the newer version that was causing an issue. Really not sure where to go next. Can anyone help me? P.s. tried a search, but struggled to find anything similar.
  11. Just saying hello from South Leicestershire... Bought a Superb 4x4 TDI SE-L estate and really like it. Moved from a Volvo S60 as need a bigger car as another baby due in October.... Got a few queries already (mainly on trying to get android auto working on colombus with S9), so looking forward to a little support for a complete Novice 😁
