Hi, the Karoq seat is ok for short journeys, not so good for longer journeys. Are Seat Cushions any good? and or any thoughts please. Its an SE L Model, not as good as my Skoda Superb Sports Line Seats!

I'm, it's been a stressful week. My Skoda Superb Sportsline has the Panoramic Sunroof. The car was valeted 2 days before delivery to the Skoda Main Dealership. It would be virtually impossible to not have noticed or seen the alleged defect that day or any other day. I did a test drive on the Karoq, it has no sunroof but drove very well. My husband checked over the Karoq at which point the salesman completed the transaction. The salesman did not check my car before, then, later or at all. He had moved my car on us leaving the garage nothing said, 3 hours later we spoke about the MOT nothing said. Only some 5 hours after arrival at the garage did he state an examination had found a defect across my car roof. Then all he was concerned with was me paying the money to have the Superb repaired. He declined to return £1800 balance paid towards the purchase of their car or even present a way forward. So they basically wanted us to loose £4500. I genuinely presented my Superb without any visible defects and all they have done is dismissed me. It is the worst experience I have had and if they had done things properly would we or they completed the sale.

Hi All. Yes, the Karoq has a Space saver. Problems now though. They sold us their car first without even doing an examination. Some 5 hours later after we had returned home they telephoned to say roof has a large crack. They then wanted £2700 to repair my car. They in their Terms and Conditions should have done this before they sold me their car. My vehicle was valeted prior to arrival at the Skoda Dealers and had no visible signs of a defect. It would appear this all relates to a Panoramic Sunroof. Apparently a well known problem. Your Help Please

Thank you to those who have replied. Sod's law, ground covered in snow today, just as we planned to new car bring home. Fortunately, it has got a spacesaver, 18" wheels, sat nav, rear view camera and heated seats. So coming down from the sportsline superb our SE L Karoq is not far off the same spec. Did look at the Kodiaq it didnt seem right! Thanks all.

Yes, it is a bit of a guessing game as each car I looked at online has a different spec. Has 18" wheels though. Found some spacesavers on ebay?

Hi Help please. Heading off next week to view/test drive the SKODA KAROQ SE L 1.5 TSI 150 PS 6G Man (2019. Can you confirm if the space saver wheel should be included in this model. Is it a purchase add on and or an after market purchase. Should I be concerned with any particular recalls or things to check or feedback. I have removed the cap at the base of the wiper to expose the jets. I have removed the jet piece and the holes are clear as I can blow air through. The front wash works and the pump runs when I try to operate the rear wash. How do I gain access to the rear jet assembly to replace the unit. I noticed there are screws in the rear upper lining?

Can anyone help with how to get the water flow in jet form. It just dribbles out. I have tried to clear the jet holes no success. Is there a quick exchange part that could be fitted and steps to change this. Thanks Rob

Thanks to all who have responded. It was pretty much the same as I thought. I have Alzheimers Disease and have to rely on my wife since they took my driving licence away. Sadly my superb sportsline will now be going to accomodate the Kodiaq. That car had the dvd reader in the glove box on a 2019 plate. I have put a deposit on the above model which is on a 2020 plate, 13000 miles, forecourt price of £22, 700. Is anyone able to completely confirm if this model has a Sat Nav installed. Any thoughts tips on other matters please do send as might prove helpful. Due to medical resons we will be traing in our superb sportsline.

Just recently started. Sudden engine lull, post starting, low rev (2 cyclinder) or following break stop and move. It will then surge back to normal running. Is this a garage check OBD or ECU's. Any input welcome. Thanks

An update. The issue was covered under warranty and although they stated no obvious faults were found they did reset the computer and surprisingly, all now works fine. We did report some damper rust, boot on the lower arms but because the dampers were not leaking they would not carry out a repair under warranty. We have lodged a complaint. The dealers, even with our other Skoda cars appear reluctant to resolve repairs under warranty often seeking a payment to do the work? All done for now. Thanks

Hi Legacy Thanks for your input. I think trying to describe the problem is my fault. 1. Yes, I have left the key with my husband and the boot had locked 2. On returning to the car the boot was not locked. 2. Opening the boot when locked was also random. 3. When the car doors were opened, as I arrived back on my drive, some times the boot remained locked. 4. The key fob did open the boot but should it not be open as Mick suggests Surely, I should be able to walk away from the car without fearing the boot is not locked. I can visualise a man shouting 'Keep Away' this car has a mind has its own mind! I have now solved the problem, I have put a push bike in the Boot.

Nick, I have arranged for the Dealer to sort out, good choice Mick, You have lost me, of course I have the keys with me when I go out or shopping,,,,,,,,Are you saying I need to be away from the car before it locks? How will I know if it has locked. Today it did the same thing and hadn't locked and if I returned to the car I wouldn't know if it had locked or unlocked on my return. Sorry if I sound stupid.

Why when I lock my car on my key fob does it not lock the boot. The only way I have overcome this is to lock from the centre console, even then it does not always lock the Boot. I can open the boot on the key fob from locked. Its so annoying it is pure luck if I can lock the boot. HELP Thanks P 'The hand book is useless'

Hi Nick Most grateful for your response as it confirms what I have now discovered. Yes, it is more about the operating lever position 1 or 2 and the break pedal. I think the door was open when I noticed the problem and since then I manually override the settings if needs be. Many Thanks Pauline

Many thanks for your replies. It is a manual gearbox and the amber light comes on when applied. It does not change to red at any time. It happened after I had returned to my home following a short outing, parked but I couldn't move the car as the light remained on amber. I left the car for a short while, returned, pushed the brake pedal. Nothing. However, I did clear the light when depressing both clutch and brake pedals. Thanks Pauline

Hi Just a quick question. How can I remove the Automatic Parking Break. For some reason it has changed. On Start-up I have to depress both clutch and brake pedal(s). This happens both with the engine running or off. For some reason the setting has changed. Is this normal or do I have to turn off "Brake Hold" Thanks Pauline
