Evening! So I bought some long arm tether points and went ahead and fitted them under the rail. When sliding hem in a felt like I hit a metal locating pin to something. I’ve fitted the kids seat now but can’t help but think the pins are now pressing on the tether metal and it could bend the seat rail it I have a passenger? the red circles are highlighting where I felt the tether arm hit something? any idea? I was going to change them tomorrow to stick out the side of the rail not parallel to it. many help much appreciated

Bad news guys - whole new assembly is needed! Awaiting a call back when they have ordered all the parts. Gutted! I said about cutting the bottom of the car to get to it all he said they dont need to any more. So hoping its all fixed and ok once its done. Still gutted though although I got to drive the lovley blue superb home again

Evening! So the Superb went in today for this error and the service chap said there is a new part to fix this now same as the Octavia. Thank god for that!!! Was dreading the car been taken apart to fix this error. I will let you know how it gets on and get the part number incase anyone needs it. Waiting for the part to come in now While it was in the service manager lent me his new Superb, oh my it was lush! I cleaned all the windows for him and filled the washer bottle lol as I couldnt see driving it home at all no fluid in the bottle and windows where soooooooo dirty! I said to him no way I'm bringing this back ha ha

I know this is an old topic but I have this suspension rattle/bang on my car and wondered if anyone fixed it? It has a 12 month warranty from the dealer what do I need to ask them to look at? thanks

Just a thought.... the other week I had a brain fart and left the box in N while in a car park and the handbrake on. I turned the car off and couldn’t get the bloody key out! In a panic it turned it on and off and still no key. Eventually it said put the car in P! so a thought..... if the switch went totally would the key not be stuck in the ignition??? So alas better to get it fixed?? I’m off this morning to Lightcliffe Skoda in Warrington to show them the error. I have a 12 month warranty so it should be straight forward to sort - I will show them if needed this post

It seems to be every journey tonight I did (home to nursery - nursery to school- school to home) so 3 times and after a few seconds of starting off. Stays in for a bit then disappears after say 1 minute

Ok so I had this error once a few weeks ago so quick I only managed see the word workshop before it went Today it started on my 3rd journey of the day and it was as I started to drive away - it comes on the dash the message and warning triangle and on the screen is this the same as yours

I had an error a few weeks ago and then it went. Today it’s every time I go to drive - I start the car drive a few yards and it comes on. I’ve read it’s a common fault on the DSG’s - can anyone point me to the info I need to go armed to the dealer with I’ve had the car I’ve 3 months! It’s second hand done 25k - I’ve done about 2000 miles since I got it end of July. I’ve got a 12 month warranty with the car from The Skoda dealer hoping they can fix it. In the octavia I didn’t use these metal tethers tbh I went around that bolt under the rail. No fouling of the straps but they do touch the seat more deffo go longer on the metal tethers

Ok so I had this dilemma as well! Long or short I went short and so they come out at an angle from underneath the seat which is fine by me tbh. The tether does touch the seat (plastic) a tad but not massively. the bolts where fairly long if I recall rightly and so the only depth is the original metal frame and the extra 3mm of the tether metal. if I was buying again I would go longer I think and have them like the picture there not as I’ve done on an angle

Wonder should mine have come with the washer then? Or did I need to specify this? I just said I want the reversing camera? I don’t mind as I said I can wipe it each day etc

Me too! Wigan here - bought the car from Lightcliffe ŠKODA Warrington! Brill garage went back week later and bought an Octavia too! garage in Bolton is saying £599 so I said beat that and they did

I paid £477 and mine has the lines and I can press all sorts of buttons so I can see backing out left and right the lines move with the steering wheel too and tells me when to turn or what ever. No idea about a washer jet? Where would I look?

my wife’s iPhone 11 Pro In the Octavia same headunit as you worked fine last night it’s so odd Need try hers in the superb.... 100% something to do with the Bluetooth profile. Purposely left my watch in the house too tonight but it made no odds

ok so some progress tonight which I suggest you try and let me know how you got on. delete phone from the car unpair on the phone reboot phone reconnect to car dont sync all contacts I just did favourites open a music app I used amazon music and pressed play this played via Bluetooth fine crystal clear. made a call.... worked answered a call ..... worked could end calls make calls and once done it returned to my music that was playing this is the ONLY way I’ve found to get the phone facilities to work other than using car play and the cable.

Dealer chargers me £477 all in for it fitted.

Ha ha ha sorry I was avoiding the dash cam wire lol it’s hanging down I didn’t get chance to hardwire it yet only got the car 2 days ago and the second day was the massive storm lol

Oh no!!!!! What a joke I’ve got two flipping iPhone 11’s! So tonight I sat in the Octavia and tried the iPhone 11 Pro of my other half’s - worked fine!!!!! What’s that about then???? Same version of IOS as well. Now I need to try my iPhone 11 in there as well and see if it cuts off at all. This is madness - if it does then it’s deffo the iPhone 11 if it doesn’t then something’s going weird in my Superb oh I did notice in the Octavia when I plugged in the cable this came up on the screen! What’s that about??? Shall be ringing the dealer tomorrow

oh! I just picked up an Octavia today as well so will try it in there tomorrow - different unit though not sure which one it’s got sat nav and all that but looks different to my superb. I’ll let you know if it works in there. 66 plate again. (Built 12/2016)
