  1. Where did you push inside the engine mate to get it to bounce. I’ve got the same issue so need to do exactly what you’ve done there to record it. What did you say to the dealer? Mines a 23 sportline and it’s done it since I got it 3 weeks ago. Got 6000 miles on it.
  2. I’m not sure mate tbh. Try the back and forth thing it stopped mine for ages
  3. What you after for the wheels mate?
  4. Just got this one mate it fits like a bought one! https://amzn.eu/d/hG6iGUH
  5. I have a data plug and Skoda connect it’s free. That gives me trip info etc and detects refuelling. And I use car play with my iPhone for music and maps
  6. How much was this to get changed?
  7. Not buy a new door lock? No other errors on the OBD11?
  8. Sorry to revive this post but anyone know what part to order?
  9. Hi everyone. Drivers door won’t lock with remote only using physical key. Motors failed - can anyone help me with what I need to order to fix this? Is it an easy fix? thanks much appreciated
  10. Ohhh mine does the left thing too had it all aligned etc etc and still same. Well mine if I put the wheel straight the car goes right a tad. Straight and the steering wheel is ever so slightly to the left
  11. Mine needed the whole new gear assembly not the little micro switch thankfully the used car warranty sorted it. Mine was intermittent at first then got worse and worse. Then when I went to show them it did it so they saw it for themselves and it shows on the screen too the error with the steering wheel orange
  12. It won’t damage anything they said to me but mine wasn’t on either I just filmed it as I turned it on in a morning and slowly went down my road and it did it.

  15. Local garage parts are saying £112 for the soft close motor which a friend thinks it’s that not the latch. I was gonna have a go at fitting myself tbh
  16. Hi - so my 2017 MK3 has an electric tail gate. After it was valeted the other day I went to put the stuff back and noticed that the boot was showing as open on the dash. Didn’t think anything of it opened the tailgate and reclosed with the button all was fine. However now it’s intermittently not closing. It closes to the point where it normally does that last dug of that latch and its not doing it. So I either try again or push it hard and then it’s done. skoda want £110 to diagnose this fault! That’s not even fixing it I simply can’t afford hundreds of pounds on this when it’s just the catch. I will pay for it to be fixed but £110 seems excessive to “diagnose” it. could I replace this latch myself?? How much is a new latch? It’s going in next week to the garag, anywhere else be able to fix this that’s not Skoda? any help much appreciated
  17. and mine no idea what engine it is just a Mk 3 superb 6 speed dsg 2.0
  18. Ok great so from now on even with start stop disabled just sit with the auto hold on or my foot on the brake in D and it’s totally fine yeah
  19. Please forgive my ignorance on this subject….. 2.0TDI 6 speed dsg. I disabled stop start every journey, when sitting in a queue at school I slip to N as I was lead to believe if I didn’t do this I was slipping the clutch so to speak as I’m not using the start stop. so that’s wrong? I can just sit with it in D and my foot on the brake or auto hold? Many thanks
  20. I was told that if they didn’t have the calibration for the lines then it’s an extra £300 notes but they had it in the end. It’s some board or something they said that matches the steering wheel to the lines or some thing - I wasn’t really listening lol
  21. Yeah lined up fine bolt in. but in my mind I’m think - will the rail bend as it’s raised at the back? Or are they strong The shorter version I had came out the side right at the bolt as they where not long enough come out the back so bought these longer ones
