Hi, query on 225 to 235 tyres. I have almost brand new 225 pzeros on the front of my vrs tsi and cracked treads on the rear. Is is possible/cost effective to replace the rears with 235s and keep the 225s on the front or swap them to the rear. Any advice please as mot / service due soon looking to swap out.

Hi Dharry, I had mine serviced by local VAG specialist in North East last month, saved a quite a bit of coin compared to main dealer quote. Digi service all updated and reset.

Any reason why I'm not seeing any station logo when using DAB...

Just to update on this I've had all the work completed from a local VAG specialist and it was almost 50% less than the main dealer. Must be the sanitiser and valet that bump the main dealers cost up!

OK so guys if I go to local independant specialist that uses genuine parts will this void any kind of warranty I have with the garage. I have a standard 1 years used car warranty. Is it also possible the independant will be able to check to see what work was carried out in the last service which was in 2018.

OK thanks for the info. Still a little confused as I've spoken to them again and it was last serviced in 2018 so now requires oil, pollen and spark plugs but no mention of air con service. Maybe enquire with an independent specialist.

Hi, I rang my local skoda dealership today and enquired about cost for an oil change due. I was then told I was on a longlife service plan (dont recall signing up to this or mentioned when I bought the car in in Feb this year) and that I was due a major service for around £400!! The car is almost 4 year old, has just over 20k on clock and due to covid ive managed about 2.5k since Feb. Is this plan required? Should I look to another dealer before spending my hard earned cash? Any advice much appreciated.

What are these white spots on my alloys? Is there anything I can do to prevent further markings?

OK guys thanks for the feedback. Think I'll opt for whispbar kit in black of course with Thule 598s for the bikes. Just need to wait until they are back in stock now...

Looking at investing in some cycle racks. Anyone running Yakima flush bars over the usual Thule bars. If so are you teaming them up with same brand racks or Thule. I'm very tempted at almost £80 less than the Thule offering.

Hi all, my first Skoda, Tsi Manual, leather with heated seats. Arrived here from a Cooper S. More room needed for the family and biking. Rear debadged and interior lights upgraded to LEDs so far. Potential lower and of course remap or tune box on list. She's a beaut, very impressed 😃
