  1. Loved Reading this from start to finish tonight!! Liking the all white look BTW 👌 I've got a 2014 Sliver and Black estate Monte Carlo 1.6 Tdi, currently mapped to around 140bhp / 310 Nm but would love a little more for the motor way and longer trips. Already planned to lower it and put new rims on but now after reading this thread, the turbo will be getting a hike too, closely followed by a brake overhaul. Your car is a beauty Brimma, the looks, the handling mods and the power to match, great work! Thanks for sharing the journey 🙏👍👊
  2. 2014 Fabia Monte Carlo Estate (1.6 TDI, 105 BHP) Metallic grey with gloss black trim, black and grey cloth interior. Bog standard (electric windows, AC) apart from roof bars, ECU Remap, now running 145 BHP, 310Nm torque. Future plan is to upgrade the head unit and possibly retrofit Cruise control.
  3. Hi All, Just picked up my 2014 Fabia Monte Carlo Estate (1.6 TDI, 105 Bhp) and thought joining Briskoda would be a smart idea 😁. Long story short, I put down a deposit on a 2011 Fabia VRS Estate as I wanted a hot hatch but needed a bit of boot space for my hobbies (Surfing and MTB) and my work stuff. The VRS was bloody quick and good fun but the dealer mucked me around for nearly 4 weeks with a gearbox service issue so I asked for my deposit back. Found the TDI last week and picked it up yesterday, drove lovely but I knew a remap would give me more midrange and kick in the turbo a little earlier so I had it mapped this morning. Difference is unreal, quicker pick up, more mid range grunt and generally just nicer to drive all round, will see how it effects the MPG as time goes on. Looking to upgrade the head unit in the near future and possibly retrofit Cruise Control so will check/post on the correct forums when the time comes. Owned a MK2 Octavia VRS Estate a few years back which was an incredible car and I look forward to driving this little car around for a good while now. Thanks in advance for any advice, I'll sign off for now, Joe
