Interesting, just phoned up and I have two on my 2.0 SE L First Edition. Some sort of plastic cover and the software update that everyone seems to be getting. In for next week and loan car booked. Didn't have to ask for the loan car, they sorted it.

Hi i use wireless CarPlay with my iPhone but use Amazon Music. Streaming or playing from downloaded playlists works fine for me. Don’t know if that helps or is just an annoying comment to make. Cheers

Hi, this is the one. Can't confirm it fits in the Kodiaq tray yet as that isn't arriving for a couple more weeks (currently waiting to go on a boat to Grimsby). IIRC it was an option on our MY21 build but didn't take it at over £100. Have a nice wireless charger sat in the bottom of the tray in the new Octavia with a 30cm USB-C - micro cable, £20, job done. Will do the same in the Kodiaq.

I am two days in. Absolutely loving the car. If I was being overly picky then the alloys aren't what I would choose but can always sort that next summer. I have the Race Blue and it is a great colour. Interior is commented on by all that have seen it, I just don't mention the door grab handles. Haha My kids love the assist functions, particularly when I took my hands off the wheel (on a deserted stretch of road) and it followed the bends. The constant alarms were annoying though. Thanks to @fox2319 for the tip on the wireless charger, works a treat, just need to find a right angled plug for ultimate neatness.

Okay, technically the Mk2 Estate? I don't think they did an Estate version in the Mk1.

Hi, pulled the trigger on a New Octavia SE-L First Edition 2.0TDI DSG in Race Blue Metallic. Should be with me next week, new work motor. Had the MK 1 Superb Estate back in the day and loved it. Only had a quick sit in the Sales Managers Estate version but love the clean interior. I know a lot of people like the switches and dials but each to their own. Wife isn't happy, I am getting mine before her new Kodiaq arrives next month. I am sure I will be on again once it arrives and keeping an eye on here! Cheers Cerys
