yes same here, spotted my old one has been sold, feel sorry for the poor sod who brought it
-
it deffo should do, seems maybe yet another issue? So glad ive moved away from the octavia now
-
no worries, and as far as im aware it does not unless you have a certain optional extra, the reason it would of worked before is because the seat was going back to original saved profile on guess account
-
unless ignition off and door open you can press and it will move by one press not a long press
-
gone for the audi q3 and tbh miles better, no issues had so far and its a latest model. Hope you finally get sorted with it all though
-
Hey guys just a quick one, thanks for the good luck messages….. just to update you guys who still have your octavias skoda uk did contact me today with regards to honest john, told them cars gone and she really dint seem to care and said will not contact me again. But she did start of wanting to know my issues so hopefully you hear from them soon, was a Leeds number

So its fairwell from me guys im over on audi now (order placed) and my octavia has gone because of the danger with this stalling whilst driving and cant risk with other people in the car, truly gutted as its one of the best looking and practical cars i have ever had but the issues are just to much of a joke, these cars should never of been sold until they knew there was no issues, wish u all the best of luck and hope you get your cars sorted soon
-
So wishful thinking the car is fixed….. today it did the stalling thing again and nearly got rear ended, got rac coming as car is not fit to drive its dangerous, really starting to have enough of these issues now
-
Anyone actually happy with their MK4? 😂
Matmacka replied to Shelvock's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
it already does this, if you update whilst trying to drive it says you have to be stationary and stops doing the update -
im wrong my build date was 20.08.2020. i just copied it from my messages to you and realised thats your build date 😂😂
-
yeah had this many of times its apparently one of the things fixed in the update
-
hi i believe it was 12.03.2020 and SE L 1.5tsi manual
-
So got car back today and been told… the big update back in december/january had 5 recalls only 2 got done, 1 in progress and 2 never got done, this corrupted the system, they also found several units with several faults. So skoda sent them an update to download and try and so far not had an issue, start/stop has worked flawlessly and strangely the car seems to drive better? Anyway will keep an eye out if this has fully solved my issues. i phoned my dealer regarding this and he said the update did get done (although the other garage has stated it never according to logs) but last week or week before there was another campaign for start/stop and other things so if its true maybe worth u phoning dealers and seeing if another update for your car
-
yeah exactly, hopefully we get some where with this
-
yeah sorry i was the other one who never passed details, email sent so he should now have the 5/5
