The Superb III Picture thread
Removing and putting back this small grill is easy, but equally easy to fit incorrectly, with your small alignment issue as the result. There are some tabs that need to line up correctly with the middle grill. If these tabs are slightly misaligned the grill does fit but then sticks out by a few millimeters. Taking the grill out again and bending the tabs a bit further out and ensuring alignment when fitting it again should resolve it. For me it was a bit easier as I had the front bumper completely off to see what the alignment problem was. Unfortunately I didn’t take detailed pictures.

The Superb III Picture thread
At the moment I’m just running stock sway bars and end links, but have been looking at the H&Rs to compliment the lowering set. Any experience positive or negative that you can share?

black front and rear badges
The front and rear are definitely not the same, down to the curving of the logo. Strange that SuperSkoda don’t offer the rear at the moment, as that’s where I bought mine. Depending on where you are locate, this site might be an alternative for you: https://www.skodaautoteile.de/shop/superb-iii/außenausstattung/

The Superb III Picture thread
Continues to be a work-in-progress-project, but pretty happy about the exterior of my 2016 ŠKODA Superb 280. Lowered on H&R suspension, BBS 20” CH-R2s, sportline look with black mirrors, window trim and front chrome parts replaced, sporty honeycomb grill, logos colored, etc...

Wheel fitting
To be on the safe side it is better to not go beyond 8.5J wide, but it all depends on the ET value as well. I’ve test fitted 9Js with ET41 and those worked quite a bit better than the 9Js with ET30 you see in my previous pictures. However with these higher ET values you then need to start thinking about how close the inner rim is to the suspension, especially on the front. I’ve included a picture of the test fit of the 9J with ET41 on the back of my Superb. Ignore the tyre size as that one is definitely wrong for this car, but It was good enough to get an impression.

Finally signed up as member
Hi there, I’m Michael, based in the Netherlands, and today finally signed up as member at briskoda. I say finally as I’ve been an long time reader of the forums, but until now didn’t take the effort to sign up. Anyway, that’s sorted now. My experience with ŠKODA started back in 2008 with the purchase of a black 2006 Octavia vRS Combi with 240 hp and then upgraded in 2018 to my current white 2016 Superb Combi with 280 hp. I’ve always had VAG cars, started my automotive career with a small VW Polo 6n 75 hp followed by a Seat Cordoba SX coupe with the 2l 16 valve engine from the Golf GTI and finally a VW Bora V6 sedan with 204 hp before switching to the ŠKODAs. Hope to share my experiences and add to those of others. Here’s the Octavia and Superb next to each other: Superb on a road trip through Norway: Worthersee trip in Austria: Superb as a work in progress project:

Wheel fitting
I doubt that this wheel will fit nicely into the arches. I'm running 245/30R20 on 9J wheels with ET30, and that has only been possible by setting the alignment with standard arms to maximum negative. I do have to add that I've lowered the car with H&R coillovers set to the maximum height, which is around 40mm lowering in comparison to standard. Your wheels would stick out another 3.3mm further: https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=245&aspect=30&diameter=20&wheelwidth=9&offset=30&width2=255&aspect2=30&wheel_size=20&wheel_width=9-5&offset2=33
