  1. I ordered an Enyaq 85 in December. What information do I need to get from the dealer to be able to contact Skoda to find out what stage is at. And also how do you contact Skoda. Three years ago when I had my Karoq on order you contacted the via live chat on the skoda uk web site. Can't seem to find that now.
  2. I have just ordered an Enyaq IV 85 Edition from JMM which will replace my Karoq 1.0TSE SE Technology. Sales man Nick Flynn was back on form providing the same excellent service as he had given when we purchased our Citigo and Fabia.
  3. The Sportline is terrible value. It is basically an SE Tech with bigger wheels and a hefty increase in price.
  4. I should have said the red Led on the dead key does not light when you press the buttons. I have phoned the dealer and it will be almost £200 for a new key. A price which is scandalous.
  5. One of the keys for my wife's Fabia has died. Not just a flat battery as I changed the battery and it still would not work. Any idea how much a replacement would cost?
  6. It was in the brochure long before September 15th. It was in it back in August when I ordered my car, and was even when I started to research for my new car back in early summer / late spring.
  7. Plug it into the USB C socket that located on the rear view mirror mounting.
  8. Those photos makes it look a lot more cramped in the rear than I remember from my test drive.
  9. Does the Karoq have the Laura ŠKODA Digital Assistant?
  10. I have in the past bought 3 cars from John Mulholland Motors, a used Hyundai and two new Skodas. When I decided that my next car would be a Karoq, I assumed I would get it through JMMs. However when I phoned the salespeson who I had bought my two previous cars from he made it very clear on the phone that he could not be bothered. I was told that there was no Karoq I could take a test drive in (and that even if they had I would need multiple forms of ID despite being a regular customer) and when I asked them to send me a quote for PCP and PCH I was told that it was the law that I would have to in person to the dealer despite COVID. I was very disapointed by this and phoned a rival Skoda dealer who both had a car I could test drive (needing only the plastic card from my drivers licence for proof of ID) and was very happy to provide finance quotes by email to avoid prolonged personal contact. They got my business, so Muholland's and salesman Nick Flynn's loss.
  11. I test drove it and it is plenty fast enough. The 1,0L TSI fitted to the Citigo is not 115bhp and yet felt plenty quick (my wife drove one before he she got her Fabia). Back when I was a teenager the car all my friends lusted after was an Escort XR3i (I had a lowly Escort 1.3L). The hot hatch XR3i had a lower top speed than the Karoq with 1.0TSI and was less than a second faster 0-60. The diesel Karoq is slower (0.3s slower to 60 and 1 mph slower top speed) and yet no one goes on that it is under powered.
  12. Why do so many people think that the 1.0 TSI engine is not going to be powerful enough, it has 115bhp, which is more than you need for normal legal driving in a car of this size. The 0-60 and top speed figures compare very well with most of the cars I have owned, and are almost identical to the Mk3 Mondeo TDci I used to drive and tow a caravan with.
  13. You are paying more per month for a little Kamiq than you were for the Karoq??????
  14. TBH having left it this late I would suggest you buy a car from stock rather than risk a factory order arriving in January and being stung with inport duty.
  15. Was just on the Skoda UK website and it seems they are no longer building the Karoq Scout or fitting diesel engines. Only cars already built in stock are available!
  16. Did the not paint it at the factory??? Why is it in primer?
  17. The Kamiq is I am sure a good car, most Skoda's with the exception of the short lived Rapid have been good. I do not however like the front styling compared with the Karoq or Kodiak. Those slit like head lights just don't look right, make it look like a Citreon.
  18. I have a 1.0 TSI Karoq on order. Forgot to ask the dealer what the service intervals are. Anyone know?
  19. Hot air is blown up the inside of the windscreen.
  20. No it does not look horrendous, in fact it is nicer than several of the colours that you have to pay through the nose for such as - Meteor Grey, Candy White, Moon White, Magnetic Brown, Brilliant Silver and Velvet Red. White is the worst colour for a car, silver is just boring, brown is the colour of ****, Meteor Grey looks like primer, and Velvet Red looks anything but special.
