Hello I have the Garmin dashcam in the car and wanted to hardwire it, since the lighter outlet keeps blowing the fuse. Theres other guides in here, but they are with different wires then what you get with the Garmin dashcam. @pab567 - Thank you once again for the update and help. I made the update today, and cant really see any difference right now. But im hoping the bluetooth part is working better now.

I found another guide, where it says i need extra battery and OBD. So i panicked a bit. Did you do the update? How long did it take? The guide says about 60 minutes and someone else here said 20 minutes.

I remember there was a guide here to update the software. But i cant find it now. To the people who did the update, how did it go? Any problems? Should you just transfer the Update to a SD card and throw it into the car and go to settings firmware and update?

Is there any where you can read about the update? I saw somewhere that the ambilight gets more colors? Is that correct?
