Looks great, do you have any instructions on how you removed the trim please?

Just an update regarding this thread. I booked in with Skoda for them to diagnose. The spark plugs were overdue so they changed them but this didn't resolve the issue. They put it down to a piston/cylinder misfire issue and advised me to take back to the garage I bought it from (not a Skoda specialist) as they didn't want me to keep paying them for work done on a car I had only had 2 weeks which was really good of them. The mechanic mentioned that they may also not have done the cambelt correctly, or could have damaged something whilst doing this. At this point I become worried and could not trust the car, or the garage I bought from to fix it, so asked for my money back and returned the car which they were happy to do! I'm now in the process of buying a newer Skoda Rapid Spaceback from a Skoda Main dealer.

Thanks for your reply. Yes it does seem like some sort of fuel or air issue. It idles absolutely fine and smooth, same with acceleration. I notice the judder when lifting off the accelerator for a couple of seconds then re-applying, its in those moments in between. Will look into the fault code reader.

Hello, I’m new to the forum. I have just bought a 2015 Skoda Rapid Spaceback Sport 1.2 Tsi 110. The garage did a Mot, Service and changed the Cambelt for me before I collected just this last Saturday. I can hear a slight ticking noise but after reading various threads I think that’s normal for the High Pressure Fuel Pump? My concern is that the car judders a little when I release the accelerator at any point before starting to slow down, before using the brake for example. It feels fine when actually accelerating Can anyone tell me if this is normal or if it needs looking at? And if so any ideas what it could be? Thanks, Ryan.
