  1. Yeah 100% plan on fixing the root cause as I plan on keeping the car for a long time! Had it 2 years and the first thing to fault/break.
  2. Yeah, hopefully it can be sorted with not too much of an expense. My first though was the head gasket had gone as I couldn't see the coolant, but since being shown it, I gathered it wasn't that.
  3. Hello, I have a 2017 rapid space back with a coolant leak it is 1.2tsi with around 34k on the clock. I have had a friend check where the leak is coming from and said it is from the water pump as I couldn’t see any signs that it was coming from there, he said that this is a common issue with this engine as he has seen them in VWs and Seat vehicles too. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what it actually turned out to be and whether they had to replace the full water pump or mentioned to me was a small gasket inside which could be replaced. I am booked in for the 9th at a local garage, but just looking for some information. Thanks.
  4. The thing which I have found is that when I engage in reverse my 'park pilot' engages which I assume is taking some of the voltage etc and not allowing it to go to the heater maybe, which could be causing it, but surely that would be a fault. I will check the pollen filter and update this thread
  5. Wondering if anyone is able to help. Whenever I turn the climate control above 2 notches of power it starts to make like a clicking/rattling noise as if the motor is struggling to spin. Then when the car warms up I can use it pretty normally, but then whenever I press the option to circulate the air its like a horrible motor spinning, which is frustrating and seems like poor quality, which surely it can not be, because my 09 fiesta didn't do anything like that! Sometimes the sound is like a bag blowing in the wind. It also happens whenever I engage reverse and have the heating or air con on, I have only just bought the car 3 months ago from Skoda & ideally wanted to avoid going back there as the aftersales service I had was pretty poor. I do have 12 months warranty and was only serviced the day I picked it up so I assume it can't be anything to do with filters. I am just wondering whether I have a damaged motor or something... Anyone able to provide any assistance or had the same issue?

  7. Hello, Would you be able to link me to where you got the station logos from?

  9. I will take a look into that then. Maybe as time goes on I may decide to get an activation key as I would use it and do like the look of the interface on CarPlay. Have you bothered changing the 'yellow' lights to xenon effect ones, or have you kept them the same? I will check out that forum, thanks for all the info
  10. Oh okay, that's the same with mine. I would like to get the SmartLink for Apple CarPlay, but not prepared to pay £150 for the activation key! To code in the needle sweep etc, do I actually have to be able know any coding or am I able to select certain options or choices etc on the device? I agree with you parts are hard to come by as they are pretty rare to be fair!
  11. A couple of photos I got today, just cleaned it. I got a Demon set from B&M for £20 and included lots of different cleaning supplies etc. Not the best of pictures but show some of the modifications I have done. 27C5522D-1D1F-42DF-AF14-D74209FB9849.heic 26116EA4-8C86-40AF-A7C5-C9CFB42D04E2.heic 366A88B2-910A-4FD5-878E-A99FA4AFEE6B.heic
  12. Sorry about such a delayed response! Good list that I can take some ideas from. The bonnet isolation, does it provide any benefits? Also, how did you code in the needle sweep, did you buy one of those devices you plug into the port inside the car? Finally, the light assist what is that? I bought some mats from eBay which were £20. They fit perfectly into the pins that are existing in the car and came very quickly, proper bargain.
  13. Just a little thread on my Spaceback and the mods I’m completing if anyone needs any links or assistance in how I done anything etc, feel free to ask. I've got a 2017 1.2 TSI (110) Spaceback, which I bought nearly a month ago now from a Skoda dealership, FSH etc. I had a plan of mods I wanted to do, nothing to over the top. Just to increase the sportiness and aggressiveness of the car. I come from a 2009 Ford Fiesta which I had for 4.5 years and done me extremely well. the modifications I want to complete are as follows: - replace chrome grille surround with black ‘Monte Carlo’ surround. - add wind deflectors - add custom mats - change ‘yellow’ lights to Xenon effect bulbs - private plate installation - front splitter - maybe a remap in the future (I’m happy with output atm) - lowering springs (if I come across well priced set) I will attach some photos as I attempt to progress through the list. Some of the mods have already been done and I will update the post ASAP!
  14. There’s a remapping that REVO offer, it’s £399, includes the air filter I believe. I’m sure you could get a cheaper one somewhere local to you, but REVO obviously it’s the assurance from the company itself and it’s reliable...
  15. I come across these on Car Enhancement UK. For the H15 bulb, £18.99 for the pair. https://www.carenhancementsuk.co.uk/collections/x-ceuk-lighting-drl-bulbs/products/illuminite-h15-drl-main-beam-upgrade-ice-white
  16. That's good to hear! Did you find anywhere that sells the DLR bulbs, would you be able to link them here for me? As you say sounds very strange the design of them, why aren't they just a separate bulb! Picked my one up today, not drove it much but you get a lot for your money in the SE Sport model IMO!
