  1. It should be my workshop that's mistaken. The oil seal has since arrived and I would need to go the workshop to sort out this mess
  2. Hi everyone, I have a question on the oil seal replacement. I recently went for a DSG oil change, but they found a slight leak in the oil seal covering the mechatronic unit. Unfortunately, the replacement part for the oil seal wasn't in stock, so the workshop suggested going ahead with the oil change and replacing the oil seal later when the part arrives. Before the oil change, I asked the workshop if the oil needed to be drained again, and they said it didn't. Now that I've had time to reflect and do some research, I can't help but wonder if I was given incorrect advice at the workshop.
  3. The receiver is mounted in the bumper The fault codes are: 17 Dashboard U111000 Function restriction due to communication interruption 65 Tire Pressure B200500 Data record invalid 19 Gateway U012700 Lost Communication With Tire Pressure Monitor Module The thing is that after clearing the faults, the pressure readings are fine but once the engine is stopped and restarted, the same faults re-appears
  4. I am having problems getting this internal TPMS to work properly. The system generates faults and stops showing the pressure readings whenever the engine is restarted. After clearing the faults, the readings are shown but after stopping and re-starting the engine, the faults recurs. Any advice most welcomed
  5. There are various sounds in the clip. Anything in particular that we should be hearing? You might want to point out at what time in the clip the sound occur. Is yours a 190 TSI or TDI?
  6. HI all, My <1 month old Superb facelift 190ps TSI with a 7 speed wet clutch has some vibrations on the brake pedal. Usually, these vibrations can be felt when I take my foot off the accelerator and rest it on the brake pedal but without depressing it. They are intermittent and not continuous. Right now, thinking about it as I am typing this, I wonder if it is somehow related to the gearbox downshifting as the car is in the midst of slowing down. As my car is still new, these vibrations are rather concerning. I know of someone who has a similar experience on his equally new car. He has bought it back to the dealer and their conclusion thus far is that the vibrations are normal. From what I can recall when testing the dealership's test car, I did not feel the brake pedal vibrations so I am a bit skeptical of the dealership's diagnosis of it being normal. Appreciate if other owners here can share your experience and advice. Thank you very much.
  7. for mine is: 1. Adjust seat to desired position 2. Press SET 3. Press and Hold '1' until an acoustic confirmation is heard. Release '1' and the setting is stored in '1'
  8. I am driving a FL Superb 190bhp/140kW petrol and it is less than a week old. When accelerating from stop in D1 or D2 with speeds around 10~15km/h (<10mph), I can hear a rattling noise coming from the front of the car. The noise is particularly obvious when driving in quiet surroundings. I recorded the noise and it can be heard at the 1sec and 9sec mark of the recording and it lasts for that few seconds when the accelerator is depressed. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks for reading. noise.wav
