Hi,
New here and considering an approved used Skoda which would come with 1 years warranty and the option to purchase an extension to that. What I'm struggling to find out is if I buy from, e.g., Lookers Skoda in Newcastle and have a problem with the car, can I take it to my local Skoda dealer, e.g., Carrs in Exeter, or do I need to get it back to Newcastle or at least to another Lookers site? I imagine any warranty work would be paid for by Skoda themselves, but still, buying from dealer A to save a bit of money and then asking dealer B to help you out with a problem might not go down well.
Has anyone done this? Did they get treated as a "Skoda customer at a Skoda dealership" rather than a "Lookers customer at a Carrs dealership"?
Thanks,
Bails
