Did you get the chrome on the windows done also in black? Getting mine done in the next few weeks but haven’t decided if I’ll get just all the grills in the front done or the windows too

This sounds very similar to my own, Superb Mk3 1.6tdi 120BHP. Did anyone get this resolved? Or any videos of the sound? I could record mine today to see what people think but mine is basically what I’ve quoted. Going from 2nd to 3rd gear once I hit 2000-2500rpm I hear this whining noise and majority of the time it happens is when I’m de-accelerating from this range. Can only be heard when radio is turned down. Sounds like to me it’s coming from behind the touch screen or in the vents somewhere around there

Nice one man! Couldn’t make up my mind but think I actually prefer the silver badge W kind of stands out with the black out front

Does anyone have any pictures of a Black superb with all blacked out in the front with a black superb badge and the original silver badge for comparison.. can’t decide if I should stay with the original silver once I black out the chrome off the grills.

Any update on this? I have a Skoda Superb Mk3 and seem to have this same noise noticed it when I mostly de accelerate from 3rd or 2nd gear that a like whirring or windy type noise as the car slows back down( not touching brake or the clutch)

How much did it cost for them for the part and the install ?

Yeah that looks sick! That’s the exact part I’m looking to just clip back in as it’s a bit out right now and was just nervous incase I broke it by using force to push it back in place, if you can see the picture below that side is a small bit out of place this is the part I would be trying to click back in

You see the bottom grill which has the chrome running through it.. is this easy to click back into place if one side has come out a small bit. Just purchased one of these and the passengers side looks like it isn’t fully pushed out wondering could I do it myself or would it be a dealer job to get it back to normal.

Are those wheels the Vega wheels that are on the sportline?
