I purchased 2020 Kamiq 1.5 ts Ambition 1 year ago in Auckland and it has been great up until now. We were getting great Fuel economy at around 4.9 l/100 km and the drive train was smooth and responsive, a real pleasure to drive with loads of turbo power, quiet road noise and tons of space compared to our previous Nisan Juke. Unfortunately 3 days ago an engine fault light came on (EPC fault) and 5 km later the engine died completely. Skoda roadside assist took it away and I've just picked it up after repairs. They ended up replacing the cam rotation sensor, fuel injector pump and a coolant pump. Even though Carjam lists them in the top 5 brands for reliability , I have lost confidence and will look at moving to another brand as soon as I can.
