  1. I have in plan to clean the EGR, but Could that be the cause? Can that problem came from one moment to another, should not be gradually?
  2. The problem suddenly disappeared
  3. I made this video driving at a fixed speed. https://youtu.be/5DBYyXIHUm8
  4. Nop i never have cleaned that. But, could that be the cuse from one day to another suddently that fail?
  5. I am little confuse about it, is it the black plastic piece with three ports or the one that looks like a gas regulator?
  6. Good moorning! Yesterday I had a coolant leak at the temperature sensor, i replaced the o-ring seal and problem fixed, then i drive 150 km and fine. But today when i started the engine, he usually tend to shake the first two seconds then it stabilizes, but this time it keeps shaking, and it does it at any rpm range, and it does it when acceleraring thus irregular aceleration. Please check this video. https://youtube.com/shorts/nCjyTA16zo4?feature=share
  7. I had to remove camshaft pulley and to readjust the injection pump when replacing water pump. Now my car is burning oil. Any hint?
  8. yes, that TDI has AC, mine too
  9. Hello. i a waiting for a mechanic to come to my house to adjsut the timming in my car since i had to replace the water pump and i dont know how to doit myself (i have seen some videos but they looks little bit over my capacity, unless you could get me a easier tutorial. But while watching some videos, i noted THIS TDI has a pulley where mine doesnt, i am missing that pulley or the SDI (mine) does not use that puley?)
  10. before attempting to disarm i notice there was a leak below the camshaft pulley, so is not the water pump
  11. Hello guys! after leaving the car parked for one month, when i used the car some days ago, all good, but the next day the coolant level light bring up, in effect there was no coolant in the reservoir, i found there a leak from below the car, i pour some demineralized water just for the moment, and i used the car and all good, and when i turn it off two minutes later then the start to leak fluid, i tried to follow where the fluid was leaking from, and i notice it came from the cramfhasft pulley... i did remove the timing belt cover to see if i see something regarding the water pump, and i saw no much but i saw a rusted area that was moist (like if the water were crossing over that area from an upper part... maybe fromthe pump, but that area is not directly below the pump.... In order to have an idea about the pump, i found on the internet there are two pumps, very similar but one for vehicles manufactured untill 09/2002 and chasis number up to ..........6628128 , and.........6X046312 and another pump (physically looks the same) manufacture date from 09/2002 and chasis number from ......6Y.3.628129 and ......6Y.3X628013 https://youtube.com/shorts/cxwxIA6UBZw?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/1foYIib0YJI?feature=share
  12. How is the fuel consumption?
  13. Can i put some silicon around it?
  14. mmm.. could be, but the green cap one has less impedance.
  15. The fuel filter is just momentary, i needed to see if there is oil contamination in the process.
  16. Ok, i got this based on your research And yes, thats the one currently installed. Do you see the output with the green cap? That one has less impedance than the other, where should the hose from the exhaust recirculation be connected? Definitely my one way is faulty, if i blow from the servo side it pass, and when i blow from the pump side it leaks a little but i pass some little air, the same if i blow from the smaller inputs and cover the pump side, it pass some air to the servo output. But one i get a new non return valve, where should i connect the hose from the exhaust stuff.
  17. It is oil. If would be brake fluid, for that amount the reservoir would have been emptied. But i will double.check the fluid i found in the old servo
  18. Yes, you are right, it makes sense. So it pulls air instead exhaust Thats why, while i solve the case i put this
  19. Got it, perfectly understood, but i dont not understand why i have seen many Fabias here in so pristine condition but with that hose is loose, someone even told me that it pulls air by the hose connection and the excess sends it out by the surrounding (where it has the play)
  20. Hello! i had to replace the brake booster because a failure, and i found oil inside it. i replaced the vacuum pump to because i was told it was bad, and i decide to check the connection. months ago i asked for help in this forum regarding those connection and a member showed me a diagram that help me me a lot... but i was told to replace the non-return valve to avoid oil going to the booster in case... but then i can not get the correct non-return valve because i dont know which one is the right one. On the internet and spare stores there is a valve with two connections only, in a service manual i downloaded form this forum there is a two port valve, (check the picture, the circled in orange), but the diagram a member sent me here, the valve has three ports. so, if the right one is the one from the service manual, where then should be connected the hose that come from the exhaust gas recirculation valve?
  21. Is that play in the connection normal? and where does he pump suction air from?
  22. Hello guys. Is it normal the vacuum pump has the connector, inlet, i dont know how to say it, loose? Please check the video https://youtu.be/OIQJteH9mgI
