i know, i uploaded my diagram becausee it is which show my actual engine, neither of the diagram in your links looks similar to mine, the diagram in the bottom part looks some similar but there is just a pulley, where is the tensioner body and the screw that bolts it? is not show in that diagram i would even say there is a failure in tha diagram, because the diagram shows how the bolt item 24 fix the pulley, and the current item is not fixed by the pulley but by the tensioner body, THEN the pulley is attached to the tensioner

Auxiliary belt tensioner repeated breakages.

any update on this? -
i think i found the cause, i found in the manual that screw must be tighten to just 25 nm, that is about 18foot pound. i know how mechanics in my country are, I AM 100% sure they tighten that to at least 40nm, and the second time i put the screw, i recognize i put lot of effort to tighten it, and 18foot pound is not that much.

what about what someone said to me, thtat if it is over tight could broke or if it is the opposite, not enough tight can broke too.. i could check the right torque setting but there is no space to fit a torque wrench there. I have a store that sells titanium bolts and screws, but i fear if i fit a titanium screw than then could broken something else and not the screw, at lest the screw is the cheapest part

nop, many crazy things happening while fitting the new engine but no a single touch to the pulley In fact, after the broken screw pulley of the first time (in the road trip of January) i did align with a ruler and a laser level all the pulleys in two axis each one, and they al are very well aligned, i even added a extra 1mm washer to the compressor to correct its alignment.

Hello guys I was in a road trip with friends when suddenly the battery light came up, it is a new alternator with less than 20k km on it so what could be? when i open the hod, i see the belt out of its place and a belt tensioner misplaced, i pick it up and saw this: It was a Sunday, and i had to go back to home... i did 140 or something on battery alone, Once in home i did remove the broken screw and replace it with a better grade steel (the one broken was the factory one. I did 3 road trips more, and yesterday i was 270km away from home and when returning, the battery light came up again.... i said, no!, again? when i lift up the hood, the same situation, and yes, a broken screw... i drive 240kms back to home with battery..., yes, incredible. What is going on with that screw? the belt is a 6pk1100, it is the right one, i was thinking about using a bigger one maybe 6pk1110, may be to loose some tension, but i dont think that is the reason, someone told me that if the screw is not tight enough could get broken and if it too much tight, could be broken too... i need help with that

Hi guys, an update, the car gave me 230kms on battery and 3/4 of them with LED fog lamps and hazard lights on. (The car broke the belt tensor again) at the end of the trip, the car shut down power to windows, locks, the dashboard was freeze and the engine had a weird clacky noise when coming from the injection pump when accelerated over 2k rpms. i did 10kms in that state (the weird sound of the engine) mostly coming, do you thing serious damage could have come from that?

Ok, thank you. but which of those three port is the one who goes to the airbox? it has two at the left and a single one at the right.

Hi, i downloaded this pic from the net, i need to know if my car is in order with those vacuum hoses. Please check the picture, can you please tell me, if the red marked hose at the airbox (where the air filter is ) is continuum with the green or orange hose?

I will upload videos later, we went there for vacations to skate and eat a lot lol. The car felt so agile and light without compressor alternator and pump, honestly was delightful to drive it.

Hello I did about 156km and two hours driving with no single issue. Plus 40 minutes of driving AT NIGHT with al lights on (the first day the pulley got broken) plus one day witout using the car. I stop to sleep because was getting dark and i didn't wanted to turn on the lights, the owner of the small hotel we found in the road had a charger, so we he charged our battery overnight and then today we complete 97kms more until home. I am sure that if the battery would have been fully charged at the beginning, i would have complete 250km without any issue. (The advice for disconnecting the steering was really helpful, in fact it helped me to diagnose a issue i had i thought it was the alternator regulator, while the steering is working the lights fluctuates) Despite all that, it was an amazing road trip with friends. This next weekend we are going camping to a reserve which is about 8,000ft above the sea. Extra spare tires, compressor, and traction ramps in the check list.
