Hello everyone! I have the Skoda Octavia mk3 5e 2013 1.6 dsg diesel. For 2 years straight now I am having random long cranking times. In the morning either the weather is hot or cold it will take even 8 seconds for the engine to start. If after that i switch it off and start it again it automatically starts. No problem. The long time that it takes to start maybe random but it will happen more 10 times a month. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I be asked so many times for a solution to my problem with the rear view camera and nobody knows how to help me. It's been a year now that I'm asking . Thanks for nothing

From my understanding and from what I read in here we are **** out of luck. For some odd reason the screen will go black and show adjustments and everything it should but no image. I did the vcds programming but nothing. Some other guy in here said that it's doable but I tend to think that is doable if on the left bottom corner says VOICE and no TP. Mine says TP so I'm f@@@d.... If you got any ideas please share

For a long time now I have the problem that my bolero won't show me rear view camera. From what I gathered since it has the TP down left button it won't work. So I have to ask everyone here ... Do I change it with a bolero that has VOICE written on the button or do I upgrade to Colombus !? Will I need extra coding??

Yes of course I did. When I put reverse it goes black screen and it shows a warning at the bottom of the screen and adjustments for brightness etc. When I connect the camera to a simple 4.3 inch monitor I have perfect image. I get power from the battery and ground from the trunk. I tried taking power positive from the CD unit but it's only 6 or 7 volts I don't remember and the camera needs 12v. Can you tell me how to properly connect the wires just to check if I am doing something completely wrong? Also I did the little blue interface wiring but no change. I am waiting for a power rectifier to put just in case ...I will put a FOTO of my unit so you know. Also I seen a couple o people saying that if I have a TP button down lower side of my screen and not a VOICE it won't work. I have a TP button

It would be wonderful if you could keep searching. I Ve been trying to set up the damn thing for over a year now. I mean on and off my work schedules . It is very weird cause when I put it in reverse I get adjustments on the screen for brighteness etc. And a warning down low to watch out as I am reversing. This means to me that the unit is trying to do something. I did the vcds coding at my mechanics . It seems that it wants to show image but for some reason it won't get signal through the RCA of the camera. I have put a small 4.3 inch monitor left to my steering wheel cause I really want to put the camera in use and I get excellent image. But I have to push an on off switch every time I want to see just to give power to the monitor. The camera has constant current and it doesn't drain at all. The whole thing has been driving me crazy for so long . So if you can keep your research I would appreciate it. On my end if I find out anything new I will keep you posted. And something I remembered about Sasha. She said that it when we do the vcds coding we are supposed to check the LOW CAMERA on the vcds screen. Which my mechanic never did. It's hard for me to find the time after work and schedule a meeting with my mechanic on a day that he is not too busy to test these things ...you understand. Anyway for me it's an ongoing project. Are you 100% sure about that? I got the TP button. I know you want to help but the news are very disheartening...have you checked with others?

Can anyone tell me what is the name of my infotainment ? MIB 1 ? does it connect with an aftermarket rear view camera?

If I had the money and time trust me I would have done it by now.

It's NTSC. Maybe ..... But in that case I have seen a video on utube that I would get image but extremely flickering. If it was giving a PAL signal. It's been driving my crazy for a while now. And since I'm working insane hours I don't really want to go to SKODA DEALERSHIP cause they charge an arm and a leg. So pretty much I rely on you guys to give a helping hand. If you can of course. It's frastrating cause I did the wiring myself spending 3 hours just to get the cables from the trunk to the dash.

When I connect it to a simple 5 inch monitor I have image . I mean it sends image but for some reason it won't send image to the CD module. I did the blue interface connection and all and I tried to get positive from the module but it sends only 7.5 volts. . I would really appreciate of you could send me some kind of drawing as to how a correct connection should be. At this point I would like to tell you that I really appreciate you taking the time to help.

I can only imagine that if the coding was done wrong I wouldn't get the screen I get when I put in reverse. I mean it corresponds to the shifting and I get the adjustments.

PHello and a happy new year. I fitted a camera that I bought from AliExpress for 20 euros. I got the bolero. I will attach Fotos. I fitted the camera.the coding was done from my mechanic. When I put the car in reverse I get a black screen and adjustments for brightness etc. And the warning down below.i don't know what is a high line or a low line camera. The ground was taken from the metal surface of the inside of the trunk. I get no fault codes.

I want to install warning lights in the back doors of my Octavia mk3 5e 2013 1.6 diesel dsg model. I will make a cut to fit the lights but I would like some help with the wiring and the coding . Does somebody know which pins are positive and negative? Any VCDS CODING ,would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I took off the rubber and I saw 2 holes that seemed to be plugged by an oval black sticker . I took the stickers off and problem solved.

Hello everyone.! Can anybody help me with this? I have the Octavia mk3 A7 5e 2013 November 1.6 diesel dsg . I have bought a rear view camera for the trunk and installed . The wires for camera signal and power all go Infront .I have seen a video about a blue interface and 2 wires I had to put in. I did all that but still no picture . After that I bought a cheap 4 inch monitor to test . It shows the picture perfect. I think that the camera has power but for some reason the signal does not go through the CD module. Can anyone help me? It's driving me insane. Adding to the above I've been to my mechanic and he has activated the rear view camera feature through vcds . The result is that when I put my car in reverse I see a black screen and some adjusting I can do with color etc. And a warning down. But no image. I have enabled the driver assist as well but nothing. PLEASE HELP.

Does anyone know the part number for the terminal pin used in the blue socket in CD player in a Octavia mk3 5e?
