I dont think so. Once it was the door lock, then windows, then door lock and windows. Today I just wiggled with the wire loom and from fully working doors I now have no kessy, window and lock. Its definitely wire loom.

Hi again, during weekend I went rogue with OBDeleven and disabled KESSY entry through door handles. You can still lock the car by the touch sensor, it just wont unlock with. KESSY start works, you just need to unlock the car through the button on remote key, to disarm the alarm. If you will enter even through trunk you wont be able to unlock the doors or start even you have the kessy signal through extenter (tested). Super simple, super effective, definitely way better than having aluminium pouch in pocket or steel case at home for keys. Just go for longcode in OBDeleven (or VCDS) unit: B7 Access Startsystem Interface Passive entry frt.pass. door handle: old: activated new: Not activated Passive entry driver door handle: old: activated new: Not activated

I see your point. But see it from my perspective. If you will update the kessy drive, you can then disable kessy everytime you leave the car when you would feel unsafe to leave kessy on (going home, big shoping mall, etc.), but you can keep it on when its comfortable (gas station, load n unload things at your place, etc.). I see the pouch unnecessary then. But, the main point that everyone is happy with their car and they use it how they want.

I do not want to waste my time puting key in n out of a puch everytime I would need something. Its easier to update the kessy unit or disable kessy locks through VCDS

Can you, might, find the code for the upgrade? Im going to the dealership anyway next week, so I will ask for an upgrade if thats my case too

You wrote “touch door handle for few seconds”. I tried to touch it right after button, 5/10/15 seconds after button. My point is, from you answer, if swipe is nit enought and I should “press” the door handle for like 3 seconds or what

Hi, how long is "few seconds"? I just bought MY2017 2.0tsi Sportline and in my country si kinda common to steal cars with kessy parked outside big cities. I tried touch-then-key and key-then-touch to disable kessy but Im doing obviously something wrong. thx
