In case anyone is interested I was able to switch off the light with VCDS version 25.3

Yes me too. I hard wired a dash cam and had to take off the passenger dash side panel with the airbag deactivation switch in it. As I didn't want to stretch the wire I unplugged the switch. I turned on the ignition as I had to move the car and now even once everything is connected up the airbag light stays on. Mine is a 2024 built model.

It's MOT time coming up so joining this forum for tips etc on doing the jobs that I might need to do. First of which is working out what discs I need for my car! Normally its easy just enter what you have got with registration and there are our options but not so with this car it seems.
