Been looking around for things to change on my black Octavia VRS Facelift hatch model(2011), one of the things was the rear lights. But I have some questions, hopefully more knowledgable people can help me answer. Was thinking about ''smoking'' the lights, wrapping them, making them look darker, but even though many people on different forums say it's fine, seems like I won't pass technical inspection in my country(Estonia) Found those lights that I've even seen people share on briskoda, but I'm super confised by compatibility. Here's two threads I found on Briskoda: Wagon: Hatch(same as my car, I want those lights): I also found those tail lights for sale on some sites where they were marked as out of stock. I'm super confused by all the options, wouldn't really want to spend that money for a product that I can't even use, so hopefully someone here knows more and can help me! Thanks in advance

Kinda late I know but in case anyone else is gonna be looking for it. Yes you were right! That part was super easy to separate, since I didn't need it. My original carped had it separated as well it seems, no knife required there's little section's to just easily rip it off basically. Glad I paid much less, it's not mint, cleaned it as much as I could, but I also bought an extra rubber cover so it looks good and also to avoid any spills and stuff like that. It was oil spill that caused me to look for a new cover afterall.

Are those the same? Oil spilled in my trunk so original part is ruined, I have 2011 Facelift VRS hatch, looking for parts. Currently found a place that sells it new for 86 EUR, but also was offered one for 15 EUR from a used car(150k miles). Also been looking around myself, but most of the cars that are being sold for parts are pre facelift ones, their trunk covers fit in my facelift ideally? Thanks a lot! Basically a couple of days ago it disappeared, I did nothing except for adding a little oil(Car signaled it was low) and later on the same day I refilled, right after, turned it on and all the warning lights gone(low fuel/emissions one)

I was just driving and that was engine light popped up, quick Google shower it's Diesel particulate filter, I assumed it's kinda same on the petrol, somekind of a filter, threads stated that you simply need to drive, just in case I wanted to ask if it's the same problem in my case.

So what you're suggesting for me to do? Just take a longer trip to work and back?

I actually have a petrol 2.0 147kw engine, googling dash signs gave "diesel filter", my bad. Car has done a little under 100k miles

I've read some topics and I guess I'll have to go for a drive in sportmode without stops. My car is Octavian vRS 2011. My questions: Do I need to have longer trips without stopping the engine? Having several shorter trips in a day does nothing? Is it a Skoda thing or every car has this problem? If most of my trips are short, only way to keep my car happy is to drive a longer route? How often do I need to take those longer drives?

I've been planning to visually upgrade my vRS Hatch(2011) and found those rear lights. All the threads about them seem to be outdated so I'll make my own and maybe someone else with similar questions get their answers as well. Found this topic from long long long ago, those should be the same lights. I'm interested in those, but most of the sites I found are unknown to me. No problem, if I'm right, it's good since it doesn't seem to be that bad and that expensive, but that's what we should check for sure

Okay so I asked my co worker who's into cars,he told me what this is and i managed to find the name of that part in English. It's the exhaust pipe resonator, if we have the same things it's not like super bad, but getting there so I'll change it asap, not that expensive as a part,but the work costs. Just in case I'll add a picture of this part,if it happens to be wrong translation or something.

My car is Octavia vRS 2011, 147kw 2.0 Rolled my windows down and heard a noise,the best explanation would be kinda like when you drive a bike and let it roll,that slight ticking/chain rattling sound. Same with the car,i accelerate then take my foot off the gas pedal and let the car roll on its own, then hear this noise,what might that be?

Yeah that's what I wanted to know! Rear circular Skoda badge, so basically if I want to debadge, I will have to do some extra work in addition to just taking it off right?

Yeah that's why I'm not sure, saw a lot of debadge videos, some of them are literally just adhesive, take the badge off, add some adhesive remover and scrub, done. If it was like that I'd love it

Was thinking about debadging Skoda logo, but not sure what's under there, if it's just adhesive it's fine, but I've seen some videos of Skoda debadging and some have holes, some have those little centering thingies etc. Anyone debadged mk2 vRS? Good idea? What's under the rear Skoda badge?

My engine is 2.0 147kW petrol I bought the car quite recently, last oil change was done by previous owner, it's marked as 5W30, so I'd assume what I'm looking for is VW504 000 / 507 00, So 5w 30 FS III?

Read some threads, but hopefully it's fine if I ask again, just to be sure. I need to add some oil, I know that 5W30 oil is used, but there's so many different oils, 504.00, 502.00 etc Car is Octavia vRS 2011 Automatic DSG

So that little Bolero screen on my 2011 vRS is quite mediocre, not many options, so I've been thinking about the upgrade, have some questions. 1. How hard is it to replace the current one? 2. Is it safe to order from Aliexpress, found some decent ones on paper. 3. Which ones are the best or which one you use and would like to recommend?
