  1. Sorry I should have referenced my previous post Briefly, the problems started with the hybrid system going into limp mode, usual "visit workshop" warning. First faults happened earlier on in 2025, but sporadically Gradually the hybrid errors got more and more frequent, with the car being recovered early July as it would not start at all (traction motor starts the ICE and if that isn't working, the engine can't start). Car was fitted with a new JX1 module (the DC>AC motor inverter drive). Two weeks later the hybrid system failed again but the vehicle would not re-start. Another JX1 was fitted and I believe failed again immediately. I believe a further unit was then fitted and also failed The car was been immobile since it broke down in July and with no end in sight, we asked VWFS to take the car back, which they did. My next car won't be a VAG-group hybrid.
  2. Sadly, my (very) brief Skoda Superb adventure is over. From late July to the end of October, the car remained immobile with parts of the vehicle exterior strewn about the interior. VWFS accepted the rejection.
  3. Hybrid issues from Febuary 2025 and car now off the road since July with no resolution in sight. Car was brand new in Dec 2024. JX1 CU replaced 3 times (dealer blew each one up) Then cable checks Earth checks More cable checks Dealer back and forth to Skoda UK with neither party seemingly able to fix the fault. Dealer won't supply any detailed information either (it's confidential apparently) Requested rejection but 10 weeks later and no response from Skoda financial Services. My last iV was faultless, this one has been a nightmare. Skoda UK and Skoda Financial have been abysmal. No VAG car for me ever again.
  4. Oh yes. We run two Mk IV's in our works fleet. They've been the worst Skoda's we've ever had for issues and all to do with the software. SOS system alerts on a regular basis with messages such as SOS system fault return to dealer Main console screen display changes to words like “ loading settings” with a rotating icon and hangs up Entertainment system went off and Bluetooth stopped working, the main console screen still showed reversing sensor information when parking and loss of all screen controls When started display shows “loading settings”, no radio, no Bluetooth. It stayed like this for a 50 minute journey. Front assist system regulary reports sensor impaired SOS system activates on "obstacles" such as speed humps Lane assist tries to run you into parked cars when driving on a narrow road over the white centre lines My own Superb Hybrid Estate on the other had has been faultless. The lesson here is never to be the first to own a new model. You are a driving test bed to iron out all the faults they didn't get around to fixing before launch. If it was me, I'd wait another year before deciding. VW aren't the only ones though. My last car was a Volvo V90 but I waitied until the 2017 build because the 2016 build was a software nightmare. That said, my V90 was off the road for 6 weeks getting fixed due to hardware issues... Oh yes. We run two Mk IV's in our works fleet. 5. Just had the same "Loading User Profile" issue in my Superb iV. The power off button press 3 times in succession worked. Thanks very much 👍
