  1. Thanks for the reply, and I agree that it's good to know you're not the only one with the issue. I believe that the Ctrl-Alt-Delete equivalent is to long press (hold down) the on/off/volume knob untill the system shuts down and restarts. I tried this to correct the SOS error but it didn't resolve it. Let's hope we find a solution to this frustrating issue. Cheers.
  2. Hi Ex-Yeti. I've had exactly the same issue twice in the last 2 days, at different places. It's very annoying, as you lose live traffic info on the Navigation page, and other services. I was able to use live traffic info on Google Maps via Android Auto to continue to Navigate through busy traffic last time. It has happened to me three or four times before, but more sporadically, and once happened twice at the same geographical location. It usually corrects itself and comes back on after switching the engine off and leaving it for a while, though on the first occasion it happened to me it was out for a week - I booked it in for an inspection at the time, but cancelled it after it came back on. It is very frustrating, and for me is occasionally spoiling an otherwise very enjoyable car to drive. Like you, I'd like to hear from others with the same issue, and how they have resolved this, or from Skoda with an update on the issue. With that in mind it's probable worth starting your post as a separate topic, rather than at the bottom of page 3 on another post. Let's hope it can be resolved. All the best, S.
  3. Thank you to everyone who tried to assist me with this issue. To my surprise, I got into the car on Tuesday afternoon, 8 days after first having the issue, to find the system was all working perfectly again - Live Traffic, Connecting to Shop, Updating the MySkoda App etc. I'll monitor the situation and update this thread if the issue reoccurs. Thank you again.
  4. Sorry for the delay in replying VRT24, and thank you for the advice. I didn't have any of that working, but, amazingly, on Tuesday afternoon, after 8 days without it, it all came back on again and has been working fine for the last 2 days. I have a feeling the issue was at Skoda's end, and finally got corrected.
  5. Yes, only had the car 3 months, and checked with customer service. Thanks pragmatic.
  6. Thanks for your help VRT24. It does have a built in e-sim. The system will connect to my mobile phone, and I have set it up as a WiFi hotspot, but it still won't connect to the internet. It's booked into the dealers, but the first available slot is three weeks away.
  7. Thanks for your help Stephen. I'll give them a try.
  8. My system won't connect to the internet. I therefore can't get live traffic on the Nav or use any of the Skoda Connect features. All was ok untill a week ago when it suddenly stopped working. I've checked all the settings, and tried to connect by WiFi. I've also tried a soft reboot - by holding down the on/off button. Skoda customer services haven't been able to help. Can anybody advise anything I can do to save me have to book it in to my local dealer - 3 week wait. Thank you.
  9. Sent from the Skoda Connect App. Appeared automatically as a message on the Navigation screen, saying it had been received and giving me the option to navigate there or cancel.
  10. Update: My system had an automatic update a couple of days ago, and now this function appears to be working 👍
  11. Thanks for your reply Chris. I don't have the Skoda Connect icon in the main menu. I've just used the Skoda Connect Portal to plan a trip and send to the car. It says it has been sent. I'll check tomorrow to see if the car has received it. Thanks again for your help. All the best, Steve.
  12. Hi all. Picked up my new Skoda Karoq (1.5 TSI SEL) in January, and am loving it so far. One minor issue I have is receiving a planned trip sent from the My Skoda app. The message in the app says it's been sent, and I should download it in 'Skoda Connect' on the infotainment system. However, I don't have a Skoda Connect icon. I've searched the Nav system (Amundsen) but don't see it there. Can anybody advise me on how I can retrieve it. Thank you.
