Yeh it’s coming to 89,000 but I can’t remember what the symptoms were with the timing chain it was stressful as I had just got the car. But it for sure needed fixing. I will check this ASAP it does make sense what you are saying , I’ll let you know how I get on. I’m taking it to the garage on Wednesday for some new wheel bearings on the front end. It was very loose when it went for mot and this is separate because it was doing this noise before then. It drives but on the pull when accelerating it does that strange chirping noise ??

Thanks for the advice , I believe I had this done at the same time I had the timing chain replaced , could you think of any other possible faults ?

Hi guys I’m new to the forum , and I’m hoping somebody has Experienced the issues I’m having on my car and can help. it has a sharp squeak noise when pressing the throttle it’s not the exhaust but sound like it’s coming from the engine Mount I can make it do the sound just by simply touching the accelerator sometimes . I’ve also been told it could be coming from the transmission. Trying to narrow down what the problem is does anyone have an idea what it could be ? Many thanks Chris
