  1. Hi, any update available for the wife's 2014 Yeti? Tia
  2. Hmm, I would have went for black, ether matt or satin personally.
  3. Seen this recommended on the Briskoda FB page the other day, looks a steal for this price! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281903204584?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  4. Personally, I would`nt bother with a decat. I`ve gone for a bigger downpipe and sports cat on mine(ebay special) as I really could`nt be bothered with the hastle at MOT time. You are spot on, the best gains are with a bigger downpipe, as this is what`s most restricting on a Mk1 vrs
  5. I`ve got a downpipe and sports cat as I can`t be bothered with the bother come MOT time. It`s the downpipe that`s more restrictive on the vrs anyway, not so much the cat. Car feels a lot more responsive, sounds great, and spins up the turbo faster
  6. Mine did this after getting my Piper fitted. You need some new rubber hangers from Skoda, they don`t cost too much, and fixes it a treat
  7. I`ve heard that if you put a small blob of silicone sealant at the base of the window in the channel either side it stops it? Can`t vouch for this, as I`ve not tried it yet though.
  8. Check the above, and if you have a sunroof, check the drains in the A-pillars and behind the rear wheels.
  9. I`m getting mine done in a few days, including water pump, alternator belt, and brake fluid change for £380 at a garage near me. Did`nt think that was too bad.
  10. Yet another vote for the drain tubes, mine were blocked earlier this year, caused quite a considerable leak in the drivers and rear passenger footwells. The front ones are In the A-pillars about halfway up, I pinched them and managed to poke a small screwdriver in there, problem solved. AFAIK the rear ones come out behind the rear wheels.
  11. Surely this is a joke? Crazy idea, don`t think cables like that are designed to be run UNDER a car!!I Would never do such a thing.
  12. As Paul said, remove the glovebox, and it`s about level with the top of where the glovebox would of been. I`ve recently done this myself. Don`t forget to run your power cables one side, phono in the middle, and speaker cables on the other side for less interferance.
  13. Welcome back, best colour too. #Teamblack
  14. Mines a Mk1 Octavia vrs, and can vouch for Pagid, not heard of Meyle stuff sorry. I`ve got Pagid discs and pads on the front of mine for the last 2 years, and they`re superb, and barely look worn! so much so, I`ve now got a set for the back to install very soon
  15. Years ago in an old 100k Renault 18 with a big end knock. Added a few cans of this before trade-in, quietened it down no end
