  1. My Motorola G6 did, twice, but then stopped working - The car just doesn't recognize that there is a device connected to the USB port anymore..
  2. If you have the aircon running stop/start is disabled I think.
  3. Thanks all who have responded to this thread. I pick up my 2018 Octavia estate later this week, so given that it will be clean and shiny already I can use the time to experiment with these Apps. Though I might just end up utilising my old Tomtom satnav rather than the integrated display. I'm not sure why I'm so bothered about this - it's very rare that I go anywhere that I don't already know the route!
  4. Hi folks, As Petrol estate SE L models seem to be rarer than rocking horse dung I'm hoping that the hive mind can provide me with the name of the best Android app to simulate a Satnav. Google maps doesn't seem to want to let me choose an alternate route to the one that it determines s being the quickest..
  5. Sorry, I probably should have linked to the Youtube video in the original post!
  6. I have just watched an informative Youtube video explaining the reasons why the inlet valves of TSI engines suffer from carbon buildup. It didn't state at what engine mileage this cleaning might be necessary, so can anyone enlighten us?
  7. Hi, Currently I'm driving an aged and slightly scruffy (just like the driver) Jaguar X-Type estate, but I am intending buying a much newer Octavia estate to replace it, probably within the next three months. I thought this would be the best place to research the subject before disturbing the moths in my wallet.. Rodus
