Hi folks,
I bought my 2019 Octavia SE-L 2.0 TDI DSG Hatch with digital cockpit, 50k miles in Jan 2023 from a main dealer in Lincoln.
I do about 20k miles a year - it's now on 78k. In this past year it's had:
- Failed BCM (replaced under warranty)
- Failed boot sensor/catch (replaced under warranty)
- Failed water pump (replaced under warranty)
- DPF needed regenerating despite driving good miles above 65mpg daily
All of these have been separate garage trips, train journeys to borrow a family car etc, time off self employed music teaching.
TODAY (the day after collection from the DPF faff) the engine management warning light glows amber AGAIN.
Local main dealer in Crewe has booked it in... they keep repairing under warranty. I've emailed the branch I bought it from and queried the quality, all my other Skodas have been nowhere near this problematic.
No response.
Does this seem normal for a car of this age?! Should I get rid? What would you do!!
