  1. Interesting one Roottoot. I wonder if their software will actually improve? I'd read somewhere that Musk had offered him a job at Tesla a while ago. Maybe it was sabotage!
  2. I now get up to 34 miles on my Superb. Maybe that's because of the warmer weather or because I often charge it a the reduced rate which takes longer but supposed to be better for the battery. I've never seen any error codes.
  3. Hi PoloP, Interesting that you got a message from Skoda. In November my Superb was in for the oil change service at Skoda in Dartford, told them about the fault with software, and they seemed to know about. They did an update then and since then, (tempting providence), I've had absolutely no problem. Maybe it's different software. Let us know what it does for you.
  4. I had my car in for its first service/oil change 5 weeks ago and asked the dealer to fix this sos error message. They seemed to know about it and did some software update. I have had no repeat of this error message at all. I've been over some of the same areas and had 2 trips of over 300 miles in the day. No problems whatsoever! I can go back to liking the car.
  5. Thanks for those replies Polo & jjc. I let you know how I get on next week. When it does happen it's usually after at least 1/2 hour driving. I take a picture on the screen for them too. I don't think it's a low signal but maybe.
  6. I have the same SOS error message on my L & K Superb IV estate reg Dec 20. It has started happening more often now and eventually stops the whole infotainment screen responding at all. It's going in to the dealer for its first oil change next week and I've asked them to check this fault. Is there anything special I should try to tell them about the fault that might make them fix it?
  7. Hi Chris, Good to hear that there is an update. Which Superb and year do you have? I will have to wait and go to the dealer which unless something goes wrong won't be for a few months. Thanks
  8. I've had my Superb IV estate for about 2 months now and only done about 1200 miles. Mine is usually saying 31 miles on pure electric but occasionally saying only 28. I sometimes get more than 30 miles in traffic using the B drive mode but not often. A bit off topic but does anyone know where the paint code is printed on these cars? Can't find it anywhere.
