  1. Oh whoops, i mean the tail lights were factory LED. The bulb themselves are just ordinary p21W halogens. Apologies, English isn't my native language
  2. Thanks for the reply, My Octavia had factory LED lights. I did upgrade them to the facelift LED's, however this issue was around before i did that. It does appear to be some sort of static, like interference. Is there a fuse for the camera atleast?
  3. Heya folks, I noticed that when i use my reverse camera (factory fitted), it has a minor static on the image. When i start moving the vehicle in reverse, or when it gains a bit of speed the static gets much worse to the point of the camera going black. Issue appears to be worse on a colder day, no difference if lights are on or off I tried recording it on a hot day, which doesn't show the static all too well but you can clearly see the camera cut off the moment the car moves a little faster. Youtube video I assume this is a power supply issue, bad ground? Where are the ground points for the camera? Did this happen to anyone else? And do you know of a fix?
  4. There sadly doesn't appear to be an edit button, so i can't redo the images. My apologies folks!
  5. Heya folks, I'm Jordy! I live in Belgium, and i'm interested in joining the Skoda community :) i've always driven Vauxhall before (Astra Mk3, 4, 5 ,6). But sadly GM's quality deterioated quickly post 2000.. So after 4 models of Vauxhall, i decided to say f** it, and bought myself a decent looking Octavia 3 Estate. https://i.imgur.com/O5YJ2ka.jpg https://i.imgur.com/pTLhhzs.jpg https://i.imgur.com/1fgyMCW.jpg Late 2016 model with all the bells and whistles, I think it's about as full spec as possible for this year? Came with the 1.8TSI (180hp) with the 7DSG dry clutch. drives like a dream, plenty of power! I originally wanted the VRS, however tax here in Belgium makes them very expensive sadly :) I'm quite impressed at the quality of these cars! Excellent materials! My one gripe so far is the lack of sound insulation, this was better on Vauxhalls. Did some retrofitting too! Installed rear usb sockets for the rear seats, it was some weird aliexpress part. fits and works quite well! https://i.imgur.com/M4jsCU1.jpg Swapped the rear LED tail lights for the facelift LED tail lights, cause i love their look more. https://i.imgur.com/qzwCD9O.jpg Swapped the lisence plate lights for the popular "oem" LED ones. https://i.imgur.com/HLJ5yhl.jpg The only other modification was some minor edits in VCDS, such as: -Boot closing with the interior button / keyfob -programmed the LED fits. More to follow soon :)
