Tried to probe the source but couldn’t pin point . At idle the noise just comes and disappears but on the run it’s starts around 1500 rpm . Certainly coming in the turbo or below the turbo area . There’s oil leak above the transfer case as well .

I have a scout 08 got stream, can I upgrade to bolero ? Do I need anything else apart from the head unit ? Does the phone function work ?

I removed and had a look at it but I can’t see any split in that hose

Is the orange/red hose ?

I have a 08 scout with 2.0 bmm engine . From last week it’s making some weird noise and lacks in power . But no smoke and does gives okay mpg . Cheers . Just found out the same information. Angle box needs a different fluid then the gearbox . Few have used good 75w-90 diff oil for the both with no issues .

You still have the unit for sale ?

Hello Everyone, Recently bought a 57 plate scout manual diesel, trying to do a full service, have couple of questions hope someone could help. 1. Does the gearbox have 2 drain plugs ? One in gearbox and other One in front diff ? 2. so if I drain both of them and just fill it from the gearbox fill plug to fill both ? 3. what oil / fluid I use ? 75w-90 ? thanks
