  1. Weirdly enough I bought it from DM Keith Grimsby as well. Because they had a used one I fancied with delivery mileage but then the new one was just marginally more, so I decided to go with brand new and I stuck with Grimsby cause I don't mind a 70mi drive ... Maybe I can drop an email to the [email protected]

  3. I do have a video of this happening as well. I showed it to them but they did not care. They said it did it to them once when they had the car for a week. They did some "battery reset" and when I came to pick it up it did it again.
  4. who did you contact at honest john? I can't find any contact aside from marketing ...
  5. How have you got the car fixed? I took my 21 reg octavia SE First Edition 1.5 TSI manual to my local DM Keith in Leeds 3 times and it is still not resolved. They keep saying they can't reproduce the fault. Once it did it literally when I was picking the car up, so I called them from the car if they want to have a look at it to diagnose what's wrong. They told me they would have to drive the car to find out that the warning on the dash doesn't tell them anything. They are useless. I love the car otherwise, if the system starts up it is great but when it doesn't it's such a crap. My issues: the infotainment system doesn't start when I start the car. It shows black screen. Can't adjust climate control, no parking sensors, no apple carplay, no audio, no radio. Once it said SOS call unavailable, seatbelt unfastened (even though it very much was) and that the airbags don't work. Sometimes it's just the parking sensors that don't work. It happens about once or twice a week. But I use the car quite a lot, multiple starts a day and multiple short trips. When I lock the car, leave it locked for 10min and unlock it, it's fine. What can I do? Take it to a different dealership? Call somebody? How do I get them to fix it instead of pretending to fix it?
