  1. I have an 18" space saver tyre bought for my Karoq from The Wheelshop a couple of years ago. I no longer need it, and its in perfect condition. Its available for collection in the Dundee/Tayside area. I'm prepared to hand it over for free (or any voluntary donation, if you feel that way) rather than take it down to the tip.
  2. My Karoq infotainment system keeps spontaneously disconnecting from my Samsung smartphone. Or vice versa. Any ideas?
  3. Re washing, my K came with a full set of Autoglim washing and waxing potions. I felt it was only good manners to use them. Needless to say it's the first time I've EVER waxed a car I own in nearly 40 years. I was rather surprised to find how much difference waxing makes to keeping a car clean. It's certainly easier to hose off the dust and pollen between washes. And boy, it looks brand new again after a waxing!
  4. Hmmm. No I hadn't. It was a Dundee to Andover journey so that's a lot of map. I'll try that next time. Ta

  6. I recently discovered, on a long journey, that using Google maps via the car's infotainment system fairly gobbles up my mobile phones data plan. More so, I suspect, than just using standalone GM on my phone. Is there some way around this? I suppose I could just use the Columbus navigation system, but I like and trust Google maps. I had some vague idea that I could use the car's inbuilt SIM as a WiFi source for my phone, but I'm not sure if that's even possible.
  7. Amusing but not very helpful 😁
  8. Why is my new Karoq telling me to "take the wheel"? The message is normally followed or preceded by a message too short lived to read properly along the lines of"drive in the centre!" Usually happens when driving on narrow lanes with no or poor road marking. I assume it is something to do with the lane keeping assist, but I don't understand why I'm being nagged by the car. It's bad enough having the wife moan about my speed. πŸ˜‚
