GPS not working - help with wiring
An update, my first order of a new antenna never arrived but after ordering a second and fitting it, the gps now works, so it looks like the gps antenna was broken.

GPS not working - help with wiring
Hi Austin, yes, everything is working except the gps which shows 0/0 satellites and the car stationary in the North Sea. I've ordered a new antenna now, so hopefully that will sort it and if not will investigate further. tbh I use google maps on my phone all the time anyway, it just annoys the heck out of me and I'd like to sort it.

GPS not working - help with wiring
Interesting to hear, thanks for the info. it may well help me in due course as I try to work out where the fault lies. I've ordered up a gps aerial as a first go at sorting it.

GPS not working - help with wiring
thanks for the reply, how does this affect the satnav, all the other functions work ok, like the radio or telephone, it's just the satnav that doesn't work, it shows that it is detecting 0/0 satellites... are you saying there is a possibility this fault could be something to do with a screen fault?

GPS not working - help with wiring
Hi, I bought a 2016 L&K model around October last year and the satnav worked fine for the first couple of months then just stopped working. and has shown me stuck in the North Sea since then. Reading up on this has led me to believe it is most likely the Aerial/GPS base, mounted on the rear roof. With the weather finally getting better I went to take it out to check the part number before ordering and found one of the four connectors was not connected to anything and of course I now wonder if this has something to do with the GPS not working. I have felt about and cannot find another loose connection to connect to, therefore I'm thinking this is something for maybe a different model or manufacturer and it is not needed on my Yeti. So before I order a new aerial, I wanted to ask if anyone can confirm if this spare wire should be connected and where I might find the other end or is it never connected on the Yeti and I should not worry about it and go ahead and order the new aerial?
