  1. Now I got the valve replaced and the knocking sound seems to be gone. Btw this time they talked about "valve of activated charcoal canister".
  2. Sounds very familiar. My dealer told that it was difficult to locate where the noise is coming and they found out that it always starts one minute after starting the car. Probably that is how they were able to locate it in solenoid valve of active charcoal filter. Maybe it always starts minute after startup. Looking forward to get it replaced and see if the noise disappears.
  3. I took the car to dealer for investigation and repair. They found that the noice is coming from ”active chracoal filter solenoid valve”. Spare part needs to be ordered abroad and it takes about two weeks to arrive in finland.
  4. Hello. https://youtu.be/6vt08kZV250 Car is making knocking sound when car is on idle. You can slightly hear the same sound also when throttling. The pace/rhythm of the sound is always the same despite engine rpm. I am not able to locate the sound when the hood is up. Sometimes the sound disappears for a little while and then comes back again. I don't remember hearing it during the first 1000 km. Total distance is now 1800 km. Car is Skoda Karoq 1.5 TSI DSG MY21 Any ideas what is making this noise and how to fix it?
