  1. Excuse ignorance - is this correct? All my files are MP3, I read "Also make sure the USB card or SD card is correct. This would include the formatting of the media, if under 32mb use FAT32 or if above ExFAT". So mine woudl be ExFat?? Thanks
  2. Thank you, I didnt realise the USB C sockets turned off... I have a double USB adaptar in the cigarette lighter which I currently use for phones... So thought they were all active.
  3. Hi, Was trying to find some specific answers, but hoped someone could help - I'm not so techiie, so please be kind. This all started from trying to utilise the features on the car!! I have a 1.5TSI 7 Seater 2020 plate Kodiaq (not sure of entertainment system variant!). Long of it is, I have an Honor 8 (Huawei) phone that is simply not recognised at all for AA - I can see on the web, that this seems to be an issue for lots of people. So, I've given up on that. I have all my music on Youtube Music, so that was quite cool through Bluetooth ... but I use Waze, so every time that talks, it cuts the sound. So, I've bought a usb stick (KEXIN USB C Flash Drive 64GB Dual OTG USB C) (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07PV6NZVW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - I am yet to load music to it and try it. BUT ... Sorry, long winded but if I leave this plugged in will it draw power? I know the sockets are live even with engine switched off, hence why I'm not so keen on my ipod being plugged in and in plain sight. So, thought maybe a very discreet USB stick might be the solution, but don't want to drain the battery (obvs I can take it out each time - but I thought I would ask the question). Thanks so much, I feel I have this amazing car - but am completely under-utilising the entertainment / computer system. Of course, it's also annoying that I have the SOS issue and then you can't use anything!!
  4. Throttle control is a little interesting sometimes - I struggled a bit, but now seem to have got used to it. Are you automatic or manual? There is a lag sometimes but it's not as bad as some people made out previously.
  5. Just posted on another thread ... but I have been getting very good MPG even fully load - 40-45MPG I looked long and hard at diesels across Skoda and other brands - live in London (ULEZ nightmare) - finally decided on a petrol and wanted 7 seats - we do low mileage (7.9k per year). Looked at 2.0 Litre and thought mmmm....18 stone extra weight of 4 x 4 and more potential problems down the line. Do I really need 4 x 4. So only way to decide is to test drive. Spent about 3 minutes in a automatic 1.5 petrol and ... no brainer, so surprised with the power, cylinder shut off, economy, etc. Have come from grunty high litre diesel and this does not disappoint - best car I have owned. Last week I had 5 x adults (all over 6 foot - yes we are a tall family!!) and 2 x kids in the boot - no problem whatsoever. I'm still being ribbed about having a Polo sized engine in my car ... but test drive it and you'll be somewhat surprised like me.
  6. I think I responded somewhere else on this a while ago .. so apologies if repeating myself. 7. I am a very recent buyer (1 week) ... posted somewhere on forum about this and cannot find it ... However, had serious worriess. BUT, had a chance to play with this at the weekend. I gave my son the key fob and got him to stand 10ft from the Kodiak ... no joy on Kessy, 5ft no joy, he was practically in my pocket by the handle when it allowed locking / unlocking. So, for me a simple test - got to be close (Yes, must be simple thief hacks with big loops, etc to steal signal inside house, etc). But, actually I prefer the lock with remote and quick touch to the handle - KESSY disabled - so simple. I'm fairly boring, so not for everyone, but this works fine for me. I wasn't bothered about KESSY, it just came with the car ... glad I can easily just disable it within my routine
  8. I have just bought 2020 Plate Se L and had worries about this - can confirm the disable option is dead easy and peace of mind. This gives an idea regardless of model - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qZIB6Kf3_s&t=9s
  9. Thank you so much for this - just bought on and thought I'd been diddled as well!!
