  1. i have quite a few on my Red superb also, the paint seems to be prone to stone chips. Maybe invest in a touch up pen..
  2. Unfortunately not, I wouldn’t even know where to begin
  3. I checked earlier and confirm you cannot see the rear camera. When you select front sensors, there appears to be an option for rear sensors but that’s greyed out and you cannot select it
  4. Do you mean the camera image? It shouldn’t be flipped. For reference see my camera below. If it’s the same camera as Mine from Ali express, maybe try resetting it.
  5. I’m the same too with being a maverick, just shout if you need any other help
  6. I didn't completely remove the glovebox, I took all the screws out from the inside and underneath and then I let the glovebox dangle on the floor well. at this point you should be able to reach around the back of the stereo unit and unplug the main block, then attach your harness and plug it back in. just managed to find a picture, hope this helps. If you're near Warrington, happy to provide some assistance.
  7. I removed the whole glove box, there are 3/4 screws inside and 3 screws underneath. I also disconnected the pipe feeding air into the glovebox and the cable attached to the guiding mechanism, however I didn’t disconnect the airbag cable. The soft close motor works as it did previously, maybe try reattaching the trim and see if that makes a difference. I assume the trim may provide some cushioning/sound deadening. Sorry not sure what to suggest.
  8. i routed the cable through the C pillar into the roof, I followed instructions from the thread below. Very helpful guide and credit to the op.
  9. Thanks for the suggestions, I’m struggling to find a screwdriver thin enough that I can leverage behind the pin to release the grommet. Will keep trying 👍 thanks I‘ll try this later, currently I’ve been using fairy liquid lol
  10. Does anybody have any tips for getting the rubber cable tubing back onto the plastic grommets? Really struggling with this
  11. Does anybody have any tips for reattaching the rubber tubing from the body to the bootlid? really struggling to reattach.
  12. Thanks all managed to remove it by twisting the black prong and it pulls right off. This then gives you access to the handle. unfortunately there’s no other way to access the handle other than to remove this part.
  13. Hi, I managed to get a reverse camera for my Skoda superb and have come a little unstuck when attempting to fit the handle. I believe it’s the locking mechanism in the boot lid. Does anybody have any idea how to remove this?
  14. Thank you @boydeee i've reached out to her now
  15. Hi all, I've recently acquired a Skoda Superb and wanted to retrofit a rear view camera. I've had a search on the forum and found multiple threads around this, however I don't feel comfortable attempting this myself or have any knowledge on Skoda's. Can anybody recommend any garages around the north west who would be able to do this for me? happy to travel if required. Thanks in advance
  16. Hi all, I’ve joined this forum as I’ve recently acquired a Skoda superb se-l 2015 190 4x4. I was 50/50 on the car until I saw it in the flesh and the colour really grew on me. I really want to get a reverse camera fitted, does anybody have any recommendations near Warrington, thanks in advance.
