Hi, my 2021 octavia diesel estate was written off. I have a raised boot floor to get rid of. Is it worth anything or should I dump it/try and give it away for free?

Update: we were given a courtesy car last Monday and my wife contacted Skoda U.K. customer service. Today we have found out that Skoda are covering the full cost of replacement. My wife is a badass money saving expert lol.

Do I get them to book a dekra engineer or do I need to take my car away and do it myself?

Hi, have taken it back to the dealer and they confirmed both front discs are warped. They are out of warranty because I’ve done 9000 miles but I have argued there must have been a fault for both of them to warp as I am a slow driver. The car is unsafe to drive at the moment so waiting till next week to find out.

Hi everybody. I have a 2021 octavia diesel automatic first edition just coming up for 1 year old / 9500 miles. It wasn’t used for about 3 weeks recently as I was ill with covid. Went for a drive yesterday and the whole car is juddering when braking at higher speeds. is this likely to be worn brake pads and something that will come under warranty? The earliest I can get booked I’m for my free dealer service is mid March. I’m tempted to just go to my local trusty and far more convenient mechanic. Thanks for any advice.

Hi, new tech issue of the day. I have had no problems till today but now the car won’t play what’s on my phone (for example audiobook or phone call) even though it is connected through Bluetooth. tried turning both car and phone off and on, still playing through phone. Any ideas?

Thanks. I’ve tried pressing it and it stayed on. Will try again after work! If that doesn’t work do you know if there’s a setting that I can change? No idea why Skoda think it’s important enough to have an annoying icon in your eyeline the whole time lol

Hi everybody. Just bought a 2021 TDI SE L First Edition DSG. Struggling a bit with the tech as my last car was a 2012 Octavia VRS! Couple of minor issues. Occasionally the rear traffic assist prompts an error and doesn’t settle till the next journey. Also, as seen in the picture I can’t figure out what this light is indicating? I’ve looked in the manual and can’t find anything! Thanks for your help.
