How do I turn the passenger airbag off?

 

pressing the button in the photo doesn’t seem to do anything.

Is there a key operated switch in the glovebox, that's where it normally 'hides'?

Open passenger door and use the key in the  switch marked air bag. 

Thanks.  I assumed it was some fancy electrical thing but found it on the passenger side now.
